This is the game that I have been currently playing for the past week or so and it is so much fun. It runs in real time, so people who like fast paced games will not like this. Your job is to have a fish tank. Sounds pretty easy right? But do you know how to keep the fish from getting sick and how to have the right tanks for specific types of fish? The breeding aspect of the game is complex and you may even have to make a chart to keep track of it all. You are also trying to discover what the 7 magic fish are. I have discovered 2 of them but I am enjoying the slow pace of the game and checking in the mornings and nights to see what has happened with my fish while I have been away. The company who made this put a lot of time and effort into making this a beautiful gaming experience for people who know how to appreciate it. Plant Tycoon is the exact same way in which you are taking care of plants instead. If you enjoy this make sure you try Plant Tycoon, The whole Virtual Villiagers series and Virtual Families. They are all slow paced discover type games that are just relaxing. You can even go to the Last day of work website and find forums that can help you understand different parts of all of their games and see what new ones are coming soon. Happy Gaming!
This is a very unique style game that is similar to nanny mania if you have played those (I liked nanny mania better) The premise of this is you are a girl who is going to every house in the neighborhood looking for babysitting jobs to earn money. Each of the different houses are completely different styles and layouts and have different sets of kids. Sometimes its just 2 kids and then it can range from 4-5. On some of the days, the kids have parties and their friends will come over as well. You have to take care of the kids while also cleaning the house and doing laundry for them as well. You have to do all of this and have the house in perfect shape by the time the kids need to be sleeping before the parents come home. I found this game to be pretty challenging and most games are fairly easy for me. It gets very repetitive as nothing new gets introduced except the new kids and house types.
I found this game to be fun. It is simple without being to kiddish. You are the role of a married couple who is running a chain of resorts and managing them on a day to day basis also while building a house for them to live in. After every level you do a mini game where you match 3 to try to get the materials for whatever part of the house you are building for that given level. A downside is that you can not pick the upgrades that you get for the resort so when you have money to spend they tell you what to spend it on.
I thought that I would try Airport Mania because I saw it and thought it sounded like a really cool concept. I played through quite a few levels and it was fun for the first few but after that they did not really introduce anything new to do in the levels. It was just more of landing the plane and dropping off the passengers, refueling, and sending them back into the sky. I played through the whole first location and about half of the second and it was still just more of the same thing. The planes are cute and sing songs as they land and things but other than that I found the game to be boring. I know there is a sequel and maybe that one is better but I am not going to be the person to try it and find out.
