I have been searching the Adventure list and using the free demos to try and find something just like this. Great story with interesting characters and no giveaways to the ending - it was a nice change. Only a few "hunt for pieces" type - not at all a HOG - which dominate the Adventure category for some reason. The puzzles were challenging to the extream somewhat at times - I did have to resort to the Walk-though on the forum for one of the puzzles - still have no clue why that answer was correct- but it got me through that sticking point so I am grateful to whoever worked it all out. There is a game tracker that shows you how long you played and It is easy to pause or exit. So you can play a little at a time. I was hoping for a sequel. I hope Eden gets to go on more adventures soon!
I was really looking forward to trying this game after reading the reviews. My problem - the pages move too fast. I tried every combo- of settings and still could not read the whole page before it changed, I have no idea even after several tries who the character is or where we are starting.
I really enjoy the ability to choose my own priorities. It feels like a real adventure even when replaying. The ability to mix things up the way you want makes it seem less repetitive than perhaps it really is. I also really liked that there were so many non-combat interactions (quests) that really makes this game special.
