Nothing makes me happier then when a new Park Ranger, Cruise Director or Christmas Wonderland comes out! This Park Ranger in particular is one of the best in the series. Here is hoping for a new Cruise Director soon.
I've played all the Cruise Director, Christmas Wonderland Park Ranger game series and seeing a new one is like greeting an old friend. Challenging enough but still relaxing. This is the safest way to take a cruise!
I have played the other CW games many times over and loved every minute of them. This one is no exception. Beautiful Christmas scenes that are a visual feast and fun, stress free game play. Appropriate for all ages especially since there are two difficulty levels. I look forward to this every year and for me, it signals the beginning of Christmas. Now if I can just keep away from it long enough to get my chores done...
I barely made it through the demo this was so boring. Really except for the detective there is just nothing that reminds me of MCF at all. Its almost as bad as the previous game. The female character reporters voice is so irritating that when she aged I wish she would have turned into a pile of dust or at least went mute. Boring mini games, stuck in one area back and forth before being able to move on, and nothing scary or tense about it. Since the Ravenhurst series ended, each game has gone gradually downhill until now it seems like every other hidden object mystery game. Nothing that makes it stand out from the rest. No creepy factor at all. Please bring back the Ravenhurst style! Until then I'll just skip MCF games.
This is the third clunker in the otherwise wonderful MCF series. The whole clock related story line, mini games that were for the most part clock or time related, were just awful. The premise was very thin and confusing, the "baddie" was more obnoxious than frightening. In fact this was so bad I skipped the bonus game at the end. Please get back to the interesting characters and fun mini games. Also come up with a better story line. This felt nothing like a MCF game but rather an old daily deal.
Oh why didn't I listen? I have a credit to use up and took the gamble and this game sucks. The tile swapping is jerky, the music is terrible and the tiles are teeny tiny! The customers are a pain and slow the game down and the lines written in the game are so oddly worded! I wanted another pizza chef or turbo pizza but I got a bummer of a game instead.
I love games like this when I want to just have an easy and fun time on a HOG. Bright and colorful, a smack to the senses, this game is for the whole family but still have a bit of a challenge. Some of the items are fairly well hidden. Again, as I said about the last one you don't purchase this because its an elaborate MCF type of HOG, you buy it for the the fun. Makes you feel like a kid again. I am beyond trick or treating for years but this brings the joy back.
I recommend this game!

Amusement World!
Enjoy a thrilling and delightful romp through a world-class amusement park!
Feeling blue? Take a stroll through this fun game and take it for what it is, bright, amusing and happy! Go back and play the mini games if you like and just enjoy it Anyone can play this game and even though its a bit of a throwback its still engaging and somewhat challenging.
I give this 4 stars, one off for the music, it gets to you BUT beautiful scenes, easy, kids will love it and yes, adults as well if you want something that is happy and colorful and a bit mindless. Sometimes you don't want to be challenged to the max or be in a dark and dreary environment. I love a hard, dark, intresting HOG as much as anyone but sometimes I want to just veg out and enjoy the view and not have to overthink something. I put this is the same catagory as Trick or Treat which is gears towards kids but I just loved for the fact that if your brain is tired at the end of the day or your feeling a little blue a game like this makes you smile and feel like a kid again. If your looking for a challenging HOG that is dark and dreary its just not for you. Give it a try when you need a lift.
I give this 5 starts for being exactly what I knew it would be, fun, bright, happy and put me in the Christmas spirit! It reminded me of the Christmas version of Halloween that came out in October which I really enjoy also. If you are going into this game with super high expectations and not as a bright diversion then you will be unhappy with it. If you get it for what it is, a cheerful holiday game you would really enjoy it.
