I have been playing TM games for over 14 years...remember Burger Island, Cake Mania, Burger Shop? Old but still good. I have never quite taken to the "strategy" tm games that seemed to start with My Kingdom for the Princess and the SLEW of similar games that have followed. I love trying to beat the clock but I will say I switched over to casual play on this game after playing about 30 levels. I can still aim for at least 3 or 4 stars and that's great! This is a good TM game which brings back memories for me. I am in my late 60's and I like challenging games that keep my brain well oiled. I was thrilled to see Cooking Stars is made by one of my favorite TM developers Aliasworld. The Turbo Series, My Farm Life 1 and 2, Ranch Rush, Cooking Dash....these are some of my favorite games that I replay quite often. If you enjoyed these game and are looking for a good Time Management game the way they used to make them I highly recommend this game. There are hours of game play, a challenge and for me a bit of nostalgia. The ONLY negative I have about the game is that sometimes when I click on something for Nancy to pick up my cursor doesn't engage and as I am a multi-tasker that can be frustrating. I don't know if it's the game or me. Not a deal breaker...I just need to slow down!
I recommend this game!

This is an enjoyable Match 3. I am on Level 34 and it has yet to get very hard but I understand that more challenge comes later. I am playing Normal Timed. I leave all the better descriptions to more seasoned reviewers as they are much more eloquent in their reviewing than I. There is mention of "Battle" but if this is referring to a battle such as the ones you see in Matchventures...another good game...I haven't seen one. One thing that is driving me NUTS (and that another reviewer mentioned) is when you make a good play a voice says....something. The other reviewer said it was "excellent" but I'm not sure. I even muted the music so I could try to determine what it was. I swear at times it has almost sounded like "Pizza Hut"! Maybe I have been social distancing too long! LOL! This has slightly taken away from the enjoyment of the game for me. A very minor detail in an otherwise very good game. I guess like the other reviewer I will just mute the "sounds" and play the music alone. Enjoy!
I recommend this game!

I was very excited to see a second game from this developer as I own the first Save Halloween and love it. I play it every year, sometimes twice. I don't know what happened here. This game doesn't even play like the first. The graphics are large and cartoonish looking. Where is my house to decorate like in the first Save Halloween??!! I played several levels of this game and decided it wasn't going to get much better so I deleted it. Sorry devs...you had a winner with the first and I don't know how you got so far off the path. Limited moves...not my thing. Timed games I love. If you decide to do a third installment please go back to your original format...it was so much more fun!!
I don't recommend this game.

I never review games but after just completing Curse of the Nightingale I had to put in my two cents worth. I am not a huge fan of HOGs as most of you are but I do enjoy looking for fragments to complete an object. I get tired of looking for 12 or so objects in a HOG only to really need one of those objects. With a FROG you feel like you're not wasting your time and the fragments in this game were stand out enough to see - I think I only resorted to the "hint" button twice. Nuff said about that. The game itself is wonderful, intriguing and very well made. Graphics were outstanding and the music low key enough to not grate on the nerves. I figured out right from the get go who the "crazy big guy" actually was but I must say the rest of the story had me guessing. Even though the story plays out in a way that pretty much tells you what happened there are some clues that I now look back on that should have pointed me in the right direction. Good ending - no cliffhanger or "what was that?!!" as in some games I've played. This is the first "object" game that I want to turn around and play again if only to find the 20 morphing objects. I didn't find my first one until well into the middle of the game and then drove myself crazy staring at the screen in each area I entered trying to see the other ones. I did succeed in finding 15 before the game ended so that's a big replayable factor for me. I will say that I cannot see having to look for "morphing" objects during an entire game instead of frags or objects as I hear is the case in Escape from Ravenhurst. Would probably have to put me in a loony bin before game was over - lol! To wrap it up, this was a great game, good replay if only to get all the morphing objects and not-too-hard puzzles, repetitive yes, but I'm not really into puzzles as some are so it was nice to play one that I didn't feel like I was pulling my hair out over. And I forgot to mention this game is LONG - at least 6+ hours of fairly continuous play over two days. There were several times I thought I was close to the end only to end up having more gameplay - very good length for your money. Also got this on BF's New Year sale for $4.99 and if it ever comes out as a DD for $2.99 grab it - it would be worth full price to me. If you haven't played "Curse" I highly recommend it - I don't think you'll be disappointed.
I recommend this game!
