I'm a great fan of the Lost Lands series, and I jumped when I saw that a new one is available. Alas, this game is more annoying than entertaining. The storyline is as good as non-existent, the gameplay is clumsy (you have to track back to pick up stuff that you saw much earlier but couldn't pick up) and the puzzles are difficult, and too many. Also, the language is weird and puzzling. Did they fire their translator?
Grandma is trying something new here. And even though the game looks quite innocent when you start out it does have a nice level of challenge. Basically it's one HO page after the other, intermingled with other puzzles. You don't "walk" through the scenery as you do in other HOP games. The graphics are wonderful! I like it!
The graphics are enchanting, indeed. But that's where it all ends. All you get is image after image with HO, but no storyline whatsoever, no characters, nothing to interest you. It's a shame really, this could have been an amazing game.
I've now played all Whispered Secrets games, and this newest one is in very good tradition! Lovely graphics, intriguing story line, and above all, I LOVE cats!
I can't agree with those 1 star reviews. The game is lovely, the graphics as always outstanding, the storyline is good, and the pixie is absolutely adorable. The only negative point is, IT'S TOO SHORT! I could have gone on for hours, but then again all Bridge games are a bit on the short side. More, please! Can't wait for the next one in the series. 4 Friends games are my favorites!
...but. The storyline could have been SO much better! Are the Seeds really good? Are they bad? What are they? Why can a human be changed into a Seed and back again? Why can one sister choose, and the other one not? Also, this game is MUCH too short for that price. Besides that, really nice!
5-bn makes the best games. I love their graphics, their stories are fabulous, and the gameplay is entertaining and not too hard. I hope Legendary Tales turns out to be just as riveting and Fire and Ice or Lost Lands!
This is not like the other League of Light games, but more like the Lost Lands: Hidden Object game. An interesting concept for those who love HO scenes and don't care too much about a story line or changing scenery. Well made and fun to play.
