I don't really understand the negative reviews. I'm pretty harsh in my reviews but I liked this one..AT FIRST.. but after he went to the "other world" place it was boring and tedious. First half I really enjoyed and I dont find the collector edition worth it honestly. But It was a very good story. I love the creepiness and dolls creep me out. Not all Cliches like most games these days. I do recommend it. It just looked like the creator lost interest in making it fun mid way.

I do so love this series. I truly do. I won't spoil a thing but I'm very hard to impress and I loved this game. I'm hard to keep entertained.

Stop gettng rid of all the main characters for younger people. Rick, Richard on Grim Tales, James in Detectives United and Haunted Hotel. Older characters In mystery trackers...poof gone...new recruits..even ditched the dog.....list goes on.....
If its not broke..don't fix it.
This game. like the others without Rick. Rachel is seriously boring. Bring him back. You are losing people by doing this to every series you have.

Part of the fun of a "Who dun it" is figuring out who did it. When you know in the first 15 minutes it kind of kills the fun. And cliche after cliche. I get ALL games lately do this but this one is way above average. I Macgyvered my way through everything pretty easily. Yes I know who MacGuyver is. lol. and how does the non-psychic know there is ammonia is the sewn in coat when she passes out? Come on ...try to keep it a tad real. This series has potential but kills me when its one big run on cliche. Have to have a rake because you can't kick leaves. Must have a spoon because can't use a finger to dig into the plant.come on...They also have the "detectives" do some pretty stupid things like not being prepared for the bad guy....repeatedly.

I'm glad I wasn't the only one who noticed. Object errors and i think six spelling errors??? Seriously?? Does no one proof these games? Is there no supervisor or someone who just knows how to spell??? Missing words (not on purpose) and the wrong words. Other issues. for example .symbol for sacrifice is a tear..WHAT? and things like you would have no idea. Clues did not match or items did not work together.
But there is NO excuse for spelling errors. Not that many anyway. That tells me the game was rushed and there was no thought or care put into it. Kind of disrespectful to the players. Just my opinion. Also stopped playing mini games about half way through because two just didn't make sense

Snarky Richard is gone!!! Why did they do that? Annas mother is sooooooooo boring. Almost annoying. This game was not as good as the older games. Perhaps they are running out of ideas. Why dont they bring back richard and involve her husband too? Again another series that tries to fix something that was not broken.

Just wicked Boring!! Rachel is a snooze. Why does this developer keep dropping main characters out of games? And why say Rick is even involved if you aren't bringing him back? Game version of clickbait?? I wont buy another until they fix that issue. From any of the series. don't fix what wasn't broken .Aside from that the game was pretty dull. Couldn't wait for it to be over.
I don't recommend this game.

I like the stories of the Dead Reckoning series but the clues are super frustrating. Items in hidden objects that don't look anything like they should or are described to games that are not explained well at all. I only left a review of this one so far because it ticked me off the most. I was enjoying it very much until some of the clues made no sense and in one game of hidden objects I mean NONE of the objects looked right including colors. It sucks the fun out of it. If you get this game wait till its on sale so you wont feel ripped off. Seriously if i hadn't only paid like 6 dollars I'd be furious right now. i can't recommend it. I play a TON of these games and like i said the stories are great. Very imaginative and almost makes up for it. But this one...ugh..... Deceptive clues do not make the developer look good. If you dont mind using the hint button to find things described wrong then have at it.
I don't recommend this game.
