Return once more to the haunted grounds of Ravenhearst Manor to uncover new details about this poignant saga. What you find could very well be the final chapter of this riveting story-if you escape.
The Ravenhearst storyline in the series is the most interesting and keeps me coming back for more. This one didn't disappoint. You will be challenged by this game and might need a walkthrough, but that's part of the fun. It's a twisted story, but if you don't like that kind of thing, this isn't the series for you. For the rest of you, this is a must-play for the series!
I ended up having to order this on Nintendo for my 3DS, so my gameplay experience is based on that. This isn't one of the better Mystery Case Files. The acting/story is cringey, although I give this props for being unique among HOGs in doing something different by having live action cut scenes. I had to use a lot of hints to figure out where to go half the time, and without a map (maybe it has one on the PC version), this made getting around a pain. I might still recommend it if you are a hardcore fan of the series, but otherwise skip this one.
It's a rare game of this type that makes you feel the suspense, but I really did feel like I was being watched the whole time as I worked to escape the tower. Great game.
Nothing fresh here. Make sure you find all the morphing objects if you want to play the bonus chapter. I recommend only if you want to play the whole series, which is good overall.
