Could have been an okay game ruined by all the unnecessary and excessively large achievements and tasks side bars which kept jutting in and taking up half the screen, very annoying when you are in a hidden object puzzle. Gave up halfway through the demo.
This is a perfectly fine game, but it didn't click with me. maybe it was the bad "oirish" accents, maybe there was just too much talking and not enough action in the half hour of the demo that I played, maybe it was the multiple choice question and answer that seemed to come up every time you interacted with something, normally I'm a big fan of these types of games but something just didn't click.
I enjoyed this game, although as someone with poor vision I found the "dark and creepy" aspect difficult at time, although I was aware that it added to the story and atmosphere. I did find myself using the torch option all the time, but I wouldn't let it put you off buying the game.
The gameplay was perfectly fine, But for someone with poor eyesight, I found some of the hidden objects far too small to be seen, which unfortunately forced me to abandon the game. Other than that the game seemed perfectly fine, I just wish the objects were a bit bigger.
