As always with Five-BN games the story, graphics and music make you feel at home. While the second part, "Gates of Fate", is the probably the easiest adventure game this developer ever made, this part is most memorable for its difficulty. You have to collect fragments of objects as well as whole objects that belong to different types of people. I tried as hard as I could to find all items without the hint button, but despite all my patience I ended up using it at least 2 or 3 times!
I already loved the first two parts, "Sprill: Aqua Adventure" and "Sprill: The Mystery of the Bermuda Triangle", and this one tries to do everything bigger and better. It's a bit disappointing that you only visit every region once, so the play time isn't that long, but it isn't short either. The difficulty, graphics and music are great as always, and the story is amusing.
As always with Five-BN no matter how high the expectations are they are still met. the music is brilliant and very fitting to the story, the level of challenge is high and the play time is long. The hidden object sequences don't get boring, the difficulty and the artwork is perfect. The sound of the sea is relaxing, and you see fish swimming by. Occasionally you also have to solve tricky riddles to help other animals. The first part, "Sprill: Aqua Adventures", is also amazing.
Another amazing experience by Five-BN, but too easy

Of course because of the graphics, the music and the storytelling you have to give 5 stars without thinking. I did, however, find it too easy, because the objects in the hidden object scenes twinkle. I was always wondering how much more play time this wonderful game would have if it wouldn't have those unremovable hints. To add insult to injury there's a normal hint button as well, so it wasn't well thought through. But even with this weakness it still lasts pretty long. The music is the most relaxing i've ever heard in a computer game. The game play is all about the same hidden object sequences over and over again. Most objects you're looking for don't twinkle before you find them, and often ones you're not looking for twinkle instead, as you choose yourself which resources to look for. The objects are hid in different places, there are different areas of the same region, and the game doesn't last long enough to know all objects off by heart. But that's the problem - in hidden object games the final 1 or 2 objects are always the fun part of the challenge, so the twinkling is really out of line.
This game has the perfect level of challenge, great music, good graphics and a funny story. It isn't easy to find all objects/solutions, so it's definitely fun and worth playing! As I played it through without using any hints it wasn't particularly short either.
I loved The Treasures of Mystery Island, so I was a bit disappointed. in the first part the objects were much smaller and more difficult to find. However the graphics, music and story make up for it. Its fair to say theyre both masterpieces with the edge to the first one. The story in this part is brilliant, youre always wondering whats going to happen in the final showdown. Compared to the first part its similar to watching an adventure movie, but there are also a lot of players who liked this one more.
