Happy holidays folks, today I have just played and finished *Christmas Wonderland* and as per usual, will be reviewing it.
The game is basically a collection of hidden object scenes with mini games thrown in, it may sound boring but it is actually quite enjoyable to play and experience.
It's the holiday time, and this is one of those games that just helps light up your holiday spirit, it's overall really fun and enjoyable. I definitely recommend this game, for anyone I promise you will have an enjoyable experience.
Thanks for reading! :)
I recommend this game!

Pendle Tower was once a lavish high-rise hotel, but a new renovation has awakened a long-dormant secret within its foreboding halls.

Mystery Case Files: Incident at Pendle Tower is the 23rd game in the Mystery Case files series, which is the longest and most famous hidden object series to date. When it was announced that Grandma Studios would now be taking over the Mystery Case Files series after it's previous creator, Eipix, stopped creating games, it was pretty well known that they would have a large task to fulfill. While Harbinger and Crossfade were great games in my opinion, none really hit the *Mystery Case Files* vibe, which in my opinion stopped hitting about 7 games ago... until now.
Mystery Case Files: Incident at Pendle Tower was one of the best Mystery Case Files games to come out over the past few years, and while it does not live up to some of the older Mystery Case Files games, it comes very close. Grandma Studios did an excellent job this time around bringing a tricky, unique and all around excellent game. Personally, I think the idea of travelling back to previous cases has been reused way too much, it was done twice (three times maybe?) and that quite certainly is enough already; this game definitely did it best though, it only had slight references that made me smile remembering them.
The game took me about 4 hours to complete, and while yes some bits are a little tricky, it's mainly because it's quite different from the other new games releasing now. Let me explain, most games released now are cookie cutter you-know-exactly-what-you're-going-to-do-with-an-object-before-you-even-receive-it easy, this game completely breaks that mold and actually requires a cognitive brain process.
The story was good in my opinion, you can definitely tell Grandma Studios tried hard to make this as dark as they could without big fish not allowing them to publish it, and they did an overall pretty good job. The story was not *incredible* but it was definitely better than other stories I've played recently *cough* any Domini game ever *cough*
Overall the bonus chapter acted as a prologue to the main story, and answered how everything came to be that was not already answered in the main story. There are two types of collectibles hidden throughout, puzzle pieces which appear on interactive scenes, and stained glass pieces that are shown in the main scenes themselves.
The moral of the story, do I recommend this game? Yes, whether that be on sale or full price I think this game is worth it, Grandma Studios did an excellent job on this game so it's definitely worth your time to play it.
I recommend this game!

PuppetShow: Faith in the Future is the 14th installment in the series, and by now it has been defined as a pretty well known and unique collection of games at this point.
This game, much like the other ones, have a certain issue about it's story, this one in particular did not hide it well. The story is unique in it's own way, however at this point every game feels the same, something happens and causes someone to become a puppet and we have to save them. While in this sense that was changed a little, I feel it still could have been done better. I want to see something different from this series, like what if a bunch of puppets banned together to overthrow humans and that was a game?
The game took me about 4 hours to complete, bonus game in all, and it was somewhat of a challenge; take this with a grain of salt because challenging in a sense that some parts just did not make sense, specifically the puzzles in general had very confusing instructions where I felt like I was just expected to guess to know what I was doing.
The game itself had a few challenges, and if the instructions had been clearer I would have rated it higher; a sole part of games like these are puzzles, and they should at least have some indication as to what you should be doing.
The story was alright, I have played better and I have definitely played worse; it had a story and it stuck with it until the end.
Now the important part, is it worth the money? Yes and no, I would say to buy this game on sale, I enjoyed the bonus chapter a lot because you got to play as a character I loved throughout the game and it also set for a solid conclusion to the overall story.
Thanks for reading! :-)
I recommend this game!

There's been a murder on campus folks! You are taken to a university in the mountains where you are expected to attend an event, however you receive more than you bargained for...
Dead Reckoning Lethal Knowledge is the final game in the series, however you get the best experience if you play the bonus chapter too because you get to see where you finally end up. This game had an interesting mystery, and I enjoyed the change of scenery because not a lot of games take place in a university. The game is not too difficult, most things are pretty straight forward; some things are a little difficult but not so hard you will not have any idea what you are doing.
*somewhat spoiler but not really* The only complaint I have is there was this part towards the beginning where a sorority pulls a "prank" on another student, they dress up in masks and cloaks and it gives off a really creepy vibe. I would have *loved* if they had went more in depth with this idea, and this group of masked people were going around campus one by one and killing off those who wronged them. It would have been this super crazy cult and it would have changed my rating to five star for sure.
I have an over the top imagination, so I did not deduct points for not including such an out there idea; I did deduct points for it's glitches, there was a wallpaper that I absolutely loved however it refused to work, I also decided to deduct points because just something about the story did not settle right with me.
Overall I do recommend this game, it was enjoyable and this game showcased the beginning of the end for Eipix, I wish developers nowadays would go back and look at games like this (Domini I am looking at you, who never actually try at making games) because this game was so much better than any of the newer ones I have played so far. Thanks for reading :-)
I recommend this game!
