Everything "pennmom36" said is exactly how I feel. This game is great! It might be made better by making it a CE, with bonus levels. Really liked the escape room atmosphere. Great game for beginners to expert level! A bit addicting, though. It helped to restrict my playing to 3-4 doors, since there were only 20. The walkthroughs on youtube.com helped, but the order of the rooms on BFG is different from the ones on youtube.com. And, be careful--there are videos with all 20 rooms, but some only have 17. I want more of these!!! Please!!! Thank you!

What was really annoying--let's get that out of the way early--was seeing all the collectibles, but since I was playing the SE version there was no way I could collect them! The game is a lot of fun, and good HOGs. It was a good length, and since there was no Bonus game, that was surprising! The issue of it not being a CE though, meant there was no way to "cheat" by looking at the Strategy Guide. Couldn't find a walkthrough when I hit a wall, but there was a video showing how to play the game. Really liked the recipes, trying to figure out what was needed ingredients-wise, and knowing when to use the scrolls. A lot of fun! Thanks! Next time I'll look for and try the CE version!

Honestly, I don't write reviews that often, because others tend to say what I normally would. In this case, it was necessary to join the crowd, as this was one of the longest games, without getting boring!!! And then, there was a bonus chapter! Go figure! Loved the puzzles--not all the same--but definitely challenging. Love the hidden objects because some of the objects are not so obvious to locate, and others are out of scale. Despite that, good story line and even for the length, was able to hold interest. I don't look at their mouths as they talk anymore. I just read the text and listen to know when to "continue." Thank you!!!
This game is great! Don't know why I didn't discover it before now. And, I don't know if there are other games like this! The walkthrough helped me towards the end, in Mansions III and IV. Couldn't have finished without it. (Thank you, Purple Diva!) I was pretty excited to be able to finish the first two Mansions on my own, but when it got more and more complicated, that was interesting! It is so neat to be able to figure out puzzles that you have no reference for! Totally different from a jigsaw puzzle, because you know it's going to be a picture of some sort. But this! Get out of the room! Wow! Loved it! Thank you! How about more like it???
It took a while to play this. I had to leave it and come back. I've played it three times. LOVE THIS GAME!!! There are no people--kind of like "Myst." You walk through rooms, to find locked doors. The best part of this game is, all the puzzles are different. All you know is, you'll have to figure out a way to get through to the next area. Loved that! Even puzzles I'm not overly fond of--number puzzles. It took a while, but I did figure them out! Yay!!! I try to wait a few months before playing it again, because I don't want to "remember" solutions. Great game!
I recommend this game!

This is definitely one of the best games I've played! Partly everything--but, they're right--KEEP MOVING! The only thing close is "Granny" but her screens are just too visually over-stimulating! This game requires you to think and act quickly, which is unusual. Loved it! Thanks.
The expedition continues... Track down the fragments of King Solomon's crown and foil a madman's plot in this exciting follow-up to the bestselling series!
This game was a nice addition to the Hidden Expedition line. A lot of games just give you the same kind of HOPs, which gets boring after a while (like "slide out, rotate" the rows of a Sudoku puzzle, you know?). Some of the puzzles took some brainstorming to figure out, which is the point. Some make you do things two and three times before you can move on, and that's different! Short game, though. Sad it ended so soon. Bought it after doing the trial. Got through the trial with 27 minutes left, so, you get an idea of how short it is. But fun! Love Hidden Expedition games, and the EiPix credits are a great way to end a good game.
