Did not like anything about this game. I should have taken the advice of one of the other players and played the demo first!
Graphics look so computer generated. Cut and paste, like. Some people may like this type of graphics. But I like to see some work put into the graphics, artistic work. Too much junk everywhere. Just awful! When you find some of the hidden objects and click on them...you won't get it, yet; because it says "it is too far away"! Give me a break!
I don't recommend this game.

Beautiful, painting-like graphics. Story line was was very good and worth following and the voice overs were very good and fit perfectly with the story. The length of the game was perfect and the CE extras worth it. I love ERS games and their graphics of old-world European style drawings that are beautiful and make the items hard to find, but not impossible, some of the time! ERS games are so far removed from the computer generated graphics that look too phony and too sterile. This game is well worth playing all the way to the end.
I recommend this game!

I really - visually - enjoy ERS games. They are visually beautiful to look at. One feels like they are in an old, very artist painting and the game play and challenges are just right. Challenging enough to say that the people who create these games are great thinkers and keep us gamers on our toes. The story line was very good and easy to follow and the music fit the ambience...old world European. The HOG are very good with the flair they use for drawing. Again one feels like they are in an old world painting and not a computer generated game. The length of this game definitely makes this game worth buying along with all the above things I mentioned.
I recommend this game!

This is the best HO game I have ever played, to date. The storyline was very intriguing and I loved the way you could speed up the conversation without missing what was being said by just skipping through the conversation. Artwork was beautiful and made playing the HOG more challenging because it looks as if everything has been finely painted in place instead of just putting picture graphics into the game with a computer. One can tell that a lot of care goes into these kind of games. Very much worth getting and playing and enjoying. Spooky, too!
I recommend this game!
