Was hoping it would be like Crime Solitaire;Smoking Gun, but alas, it's just another boring version of solitaire. Why do they name them with interesting names and descriptions that makes you think there is an adventure? Unless you are a solitaire nut and just want a change of screen, don't bother as there is nothing interesting here. When will developers understand that we want more for our money? Give us an interesting story to follow while we play, and then we'll buy your product.

This was an OK game but the only thing I found interesting was the story. Game play was slow, easy, and predictable. Both the Hint and Skip button was hard to get to respond and you have to continue to tap it. I won't go into other factors as just not much to say except it's a slow game with an interesting story with far too many easy puzzles and not enough HOs. I'll pass and maybe reconsider when it comes out in SE, but for now....turn out the lights!

I agree, EIPIX games have gone downhill, or they were so great and we just expect too much. What ever the reason, I did like this new release and will purchase it today. Based on the Demo, the story is interesting along with very good visuals and great characters. I do feel they are going overboard on the puzzles, as every time I turned around, there was another one. The HOs aren't different and have lists, silhouette, and some interactive, with morphing items. The collectables were confusing as there were different kinds and it was hard to find what didn't belong, as that was the collectable. Thank You BF and EIPIX, but please, take a little more time and make these games great again. Last Thursday's sucked, the Final Cut one, and such a disappointment.

I guess if you had nothing else to do, you could sit and play a boring game, but I like my games to be beautiful and interesting, which this one is not. Graphics are flat and characters are even flatter, no moving characters, other than the demon, all others just move to another scene. Story has been told before in other forms, but that could be forgiven if the scenes were beautiful, characters were interesting and game play was challenging. The Morphing HO was like watching water boil as you had to sit there while waiting for something to morph; found 10 quickly, then sat and waited for the other 2 to change. Your collectables are oragami cranes, how creative is that? Definitely not a CE and a waste of our Saturday CE, I will not purchase the SE either.

Dark Parables has always been one of my favorite series and I love their HOs. Just from the demo, story isn't as good as previous games but I'm in hopes it does get better, but the graphics are gorgeous and the characters are perfect. Funny that this one started off the same way that the last Red Riding Hood team did, with the blonde girl having an arm injury and you needed to find medicine, that was kind of a silly thing to do, but I quickly forgave them.

I had originally given a review when the collector's version came out and I left a so-so review, but after replaying when the SE came out, I've changed my opinion, This is a good game, different than the normal HO Adventures we've had available, with a different variety of HO puzzles that initially I didn't care for, but 2nd time around, I finally got it. Graphics are beautiful and story is interesting, the characters are fine but why do they give them corny dialog? I did go back and purchase the CE version and do recommend this one. Perhaps I was having a bad day when the CE made it's debut.
I knew as soon as the game intro was playing that I'd really dislike this one, and I did. This is more of an pure adventure game that an HO adventure, they just threw in a few HOs, a bad attempt, to put it in a different genre, The story itself was interesting, but really disliked the game play, the graphics, and just about everything else in this one. I felt like I needed to be a real XBox adventure player to get thru this one and that is not my thing. I won't recommend either way as just because I really disliked the workings of this one, I would recommend you do the demo before making your own decision.

This series is still very good and didn't deteriorate through the many stories and glad the little villain is alive and well. Nice graphics and characters, just wish conversation would continue without clicking "continue". Story is a common theme, saving the good people and ending the evil goings on of the terrible characters. I found the puzzles difficult and there are too many slide the item into it's correct slot and the HOs were way too easy. I will add this one to my collection but not sure if I'll get the CE or wait for the SE, as buying all the CEs has caused me to not use my Free Games and just had 2 expire because I didn't use them. The Demo was very short and hope this doesn't indicate what the length of the game will be.

A little slow and was getting bored, but it did pick up and hope that it gets more exciting after the demo period. The graphics are very nice and liked the characters but too much clicking to continue conversations. Challenge was pretty predictable but still not a bad challenge for a night of game play. HOs were a list and you collected fragments under the found items, but the very first HO I couldn't figure out the result needed and just clicked thru the cards to find the right combination. Puzzles were OK and I did complete them all, even the puzzle puzzle. You needed to collect shells in every scene and there is a morphing item in all the HOs, but prefer morphing in the scene and finding shells has been done too many times, need something new. I do have the other Right of Passage games and do intend to purchase this one also, but will wait for the SE.

Another very fine game by Epix. Very nice graphics and characters and I found this one a lot of fun to play the demo. The story is interesting and will be fun to continue the adventure. One complaint is that even though the map tells you actions available, you are not able to jump to that scene, you have to wind your way through to find it. I did enjoy and will be purchasing this one, just not the CE as I'll wait for the SE version.
