Review based on the complete game being played: I may have given it a 3 except it is extremely short, 1 hour demo and an additional hour to complete, which I feel deserves a 1/2 star reduction. Graphics were old and characters were flat, the only character having movement was the Lone Miner. Seems you replayed each HO twice, 1st in a list and 2nd was silhouette; more puzzles then HOs, some easy and some were more difficult. The game tried to be an adventure, but there wasn't anything adventurous or different, quite slow IMO. I did use a game credit and glad I had that option, otherwise I would feel cheated on this one. It seems if you want a really good game anymore, you have to opt for the collector edition games, but this wouldn't be bad for a beginner...Enjoy!

I played the demo and thought it wasn't that bad and I had a free game credit that was going to expire in a couple of days, so I've played thru the whole game before reviewing it. I guess what turns me off the most is it's length, which after my 60 min demo, I doubt it took another 60 minutes to complete the whole thing. That to me is such a ripoff and I'm so glad I didn't have to pay for the experience. The HOs were OK, nothing new, and there were puzzles sprinkled throughout the game, some easy, some not so easy. The characters were freaky looking, very poorly done, and there were no voiceovers, which surprised me because of the size of the file. My recommendation is, if you don't get it for free, you probably will want to pass.
I don't recommend this game.

Right from the start I knew I wasn't going to like this one! The flow of play was not very good, HOs were awful, puzzles were either confusing or way too simple, and story was uninteresting. The only slightly good thing I can say about this one is that the graphics were OK. I will not be buying this as just the demo had me wishing I was somewhere else.
I don't recommend this game.

This was a beautiful game that I enjoyed, but was way too short, which cheats us for the price we pay. The graphics were stunning, story was interesting, and gameplay was well done. This is the 2nd game in a row that was excellent except for the length; I'd feel cheated even if I'd waited for the SE to come out. If you enjoy 2 - 2 1/2 hrs of gameplay, then this is for you, but I want them to be at least 4 hours for the money.
I recommend this game!
The real Bloody Stanley was caught, or so they thought...

How disappointing, would have given it a 4 Star, but one of the shortest CE I've purchased in a very long time and not worth the extra money. It's a fun game with great graphics and good storyline, but it wasn't much longer then some of the bonus games; wait for the SE.
I don't recommend this game.
A fire at the local asylum takes on a supernatural life of its own!

This was close to a 5 Star,but it's a strong 4 Star. It was really beautifully done and the story was very exciting. HO's were well done and puzzles...just can do without them and there were way too many. Be sure to give this one a try and just the graphics will win you over.
I recommend this game!

I didn't even complete the 90 minute trial. so dark and ugly. If you are a glutton for gross, then go for it, otherwise, don't bother downloading the 90 min trial.
I don't recommend this game.
You've just come of age! What should be a joyous occasion quickly takes a dark turn as you're pulled into the World of Shadow.

Love Chronicles is usually just a love story, but this one was exciting and actually was more of an adventure. Graphics were very well done and storyline was a real adventure; challenge was just right for my taste and this was a lot of fun to play. Puzzles, as usual not my cup of tea, but HOs were well done and I enjoyed them. If you're passing because of past Love Chronicles being mushy love stories, give this a try as it's not the same as past in the series.
I recommend this game!

I think I died and went to heaven as the last 3 CE have been excellent. Finally. another great Redemption Cemetery as the last few have been duds and I thought the series had run dry. Graphics were gorgeous, story was exciting, and the game was really a lot of fun. Puzzles, which i've said before are my least favorite part of these games, were mostly hard and I'm impatient so I skipped several. HOs were beautifully dones and varied, don't care for the morphing ones, but can't love everything. BG, thanks for bringing us another great game.
I recommend this game!
The dastardly Pirate King is out for blood... and you're his next target!

This game was such a surprise. I never give 5 Stars. It's beautifully done, challenge is just right, except puzzles were difficult, HOs were well done even though I don't care for the morphing ones. Story was very interesting and wish it never ended. Even the Bonus Game was decent. I think I've purchased all the games in this series, even if some I waited for the SE. The last 3 CEs put out were all excellent, but I know that won't continue, but guess that's a good thing as I'd go broke.
I recommend this game!
