A good game. And challenging. There is a problem on Bonus Level 9. You cannot build the office, because the "special" is not available. Even after you play through the whole game.
I loved this game. It really keeps you busy and it is challenging. The puzzles are easy enough, and plentiful. I highly recommend this Remastered edition. It's a Master to be sure.

Really a let down. I have played HoK 1 and 2 multiple times. I love them even though I know the story line. In 1 and 2, there are so many different ways to play the game. AND the supplies re-spawn. Lost Tales 1 was the worst, But this one is just remarkably so-so. I wish Lonely Troops would bring back a nice good LONG HoK with respawns and CHALLENGE on how to make money. And with variety on how to play the game. If you've played the first three, you'll want to play this. If you haven't - pass on this one and go get the first two. But that said, I will recommend the game.

This is one of the better TM games. The graphics are great. The challenge is moderate. I think it's worth playing multiple times. I agree with the other positive reviews. If you like TM, you'll like this one. I recommend.

It's a fun TM game. I love a good challenge and I play TM games more than any other genre. But one thing about this is that it is next to impossible to get three stars in Normal Mode on almost every level except the first few. There just isn't enough time. Doesn't matter how fast you click or how well you lay out a strategy. That's disappointing and really detracts from the fun factor or that sense of accomplishment. I've played through the entire game. Went back and tried again. It's just not possible and it's hard to recommend a game when you can't at some point win at it.
This one is a little different and completely enjoyable. I loved every minute of it. Hidden Objects, but some go into your inventory and in order to complete the story you must figure out how to use the things you collect along the way. LOTS of interesting facts as well. I cannot recommend this one enough. It's simply GREAT!
I just can't. I absolutely love the Hero of the Kingdom series and have played 1 through 3 multiple times. I am not sure I will return to this one. First off, it was far too short. Secondly there was no regenerating of mushrooms, eggs, flowers etc. Which meant you really did have to think of good ways to use your resources. * I would call that a plus in this episode, because it did give you something to think about. That said, I always enjoyed the little thrill of finding regenerated items in games 2 and 3. Let's put it this way. I'm glad I had a "free game" coupon for this one. And I hope Lonely Troops takes some hints from the fans. We LOVE the game, but this Lost Tales missed the mark. So, yes I'll still recommend the game, but be prepared to be slightly disappointed.
The best of the three in my opinion. A good challenge and definitely re-playable. I don't really care about story-line on any TM game, so I gave it a neutral rating. But the game is good. If you're a TM fan, you'll like this one.
Really different. Challenging, fun and best of all re-playable using different strategy. This game is the best of the best for all of the above and I'm thrilled to have a third edition. Now Lonely Troops - get busy on a fourth.
I'm a fan of TM games and I thought this would be fun. I'm playing the CE. The thing is, it's just really hard to get the Gold on many levels. I mean REALLY hard, which sort of takes the fun out of the game. I don't mind playing a level over one or two times to change my strategy, but when it gets to be four or five times, it's more frustrating that enjoyable. If you don't care about getting the gold, then this is a good game. So I have to be neutral with my rating.
