First off, I must highly praise the puzzles within the game, which add a great deal to the sheer fun of playing. The graphics are first rate, the story line is good and I liked the music and spoken dialogue. Now I'll have to buy the other part of this story.
Legends is a beautiful game in every way: Visually, sound and complexity of game play. Smooth and elegant, the story drew me in and I purchased it as soon as I finished the trial. I really liked the puzzles, their frequency and how they integrated with the story line. I highly recommend this game and will certainly be looking for more from these designers.
I am really enjoying this game. The voice overs are great! The characters believable. But my favorite part are all the mini-games and finding the morphing objects.
What creativity! Purchased the Jack and the Sky Kingdom CE sight unseen, but knew it would be a winner. Am only 2 chapters into the game, but already can see that Jack is a most memorable character. The graphics are gorgeous and the colors lush. Music is better than ever. Puzzles are fresh and the story (so far) is also. This developer just knows how to do it right. I highly recommend this game.
Review is based on playing the Crooked Man CE twice. As soon as I saw Blue Tea, I knew it would be great and purchased without trial. What a visual feast, and just enough quirkiness to make it fun and a good challenge. Nursery rhymes originally made a political point. This cursery rhyme makes a point too -- beware gifts that feed your obsession. Will look for many more Blue Tea games along these lines.
The residents of Bitterford, Maine have fallen prey to a terrible curse. It’s up to you to unravel the series of mysterious events that led to the town’s downfall and uncover the evil that was responsible.
MCF games are always innovative, and Shadow Lake is intriguing and engaging. I like that you must unlock the morphing objects. The HO scenes are great. I love the map, the characters and the sly, campy humor.
While this is a new direction, and others have slammed it, my bet is you'll see lots of other developers imitating this latest MCF offering. I give Shadow Lake a top review.
