This is one of the best games I've encountered in a while. The story is complex and engrossing, with many changing scenarios to work through. The hidden object games are fun and more interesting than usual. The helpful companion Smudge is refreshingly lacking in cuteness and those dreadful BIG eyes. What more could you want!
Enjoy this beautiful adventure set in a unique interactive 3D Thailand! Complete mysterious puzzles and find hidden objects. Prepare for an unforgettable experience!
One of the most enjoyable I've played in a while. The story was unique, the graphics not of the usual lushly rendered but absolutely static background sort, and the main characters were all adults. The games were fun, especially the ones that required moving 3-D objects round in space. The silly monk really grew on me, sneak attack zen. This deserved a better rating than it got on average!
An atmospheric, intriguing story with good features, like music that doesn't cut off/on abruptly & haunting images that pop up unexpectedly during game play. Also there are none of those annoying "good for you" boxes continually popping up in the upper left corner of the screen! I recommend playing this on a hard setting, tho, otherwise it may be too easy for you.
Okay, well, at the risk of bucking the 2-star trend, all I can say is I really enjoyed this game. It is a departure from the usual, even if the gameplay isn't all that sophisticated. The graphics are interesting: sometimes beautiful, sometimes bad comic book. There are a lot of HOGs that have twists to them, and if you like Victorian novels you'll appreciate how the story is delivered.

My favorite kind of HOG - a beautifully rendered and complex world to wander around in, with an engrossing story and music that isn't obtrusive but holds the mood.
I look forward to BoomZap games and buy them without a trial run. However, this one was a disappointment. The story was okay but the graphics, gameplay and short length of this one just weren't up to BoomZap's usual standard.
Loved this one for the story, characters (especially weird little Brina) and artwork. Good sound effects, too, that added to the atmosphere much more than the usual repetitive musical theme you find in a lot of other games. The puzzles weren't particularly challenging, perhaps, but they weren't the focus of the game. Nice one - hope these game designers do another one!

Beautiful graphics make a complex world to wander in, and combined with an engrossing storyline it makes this a game well worth the time. Where do all of these gifted artists come from!
