I am in the process of playing this great game which I purchased on sale. What a surprise to find that I am enjoying this so much. If this had been available in a CE version with collectibles, achievements and morphing items it would have been a perfect game. I am not having any problems traveling around with the map, but it does not jump you to an area, you need to travel there. The Hidden Object areas are interactive, which I love. I think it's really fun when you find an item like a dog, and it barks or something else screams when you click on it. It is spooky and a little scary, but I like those types of games. I'm not having any technical problems at all with the game, but my computer is new. The Hidden Object games have been getting so sophisticated lately, that I feel as though they are more of a puzzle-adventure game. This game is perfect for my taste. If you like Hidden Object games, give this one a try. I think you will like it too.
I completed the CE game and am now playing the bonus chapter. I truly enjoyed finding the black roses and the pumpkins, but the game itself I did not really enjoy. I think this game was more of an adventure--puzzle game than a Hidden Object game. I enjoy puzzle games, when I'm in the mood, but this felt like one puzzle after another and there was no break in between. Even the Hidden Object were puzzles. If you like this kind of game, it is a good one, but not for me when I'm in the mood to play a Hidden Object Game.
This is my first review of a game, but I loved this game so much I had to say so. I have completed the CE game and the additional bonus chapter, and was sorry it had to end. ( I never play the additional chapter) because by the end of the game I'm ready to go on to the next one. I liked that the puzzles were not too hard, because I like to relax when I play after all that's what I play the games for. I thought it was really cute when you clicked on a flower and it bloomed, then click again and it withered. I love the morphing objects and finding the collectables. The map was very helpful and I didn't need a walkthrough. I never even used the strategy guide. I liked this game more than any I have played in a long time. Give it a try. I'm going to play it again and see if I can get all of the achievements this time.
