I was pleasantly surprised by this one. While it isn't super-difficult, the storyline is interesting and there are a fair number of hidden object scenes. (I prefer these rather than all just running around to find one object here and there.) I did have a giggle when I first heard the main villain's voice, as reminded me of Venom. It is nice and creepy without going too far in to jumping out of your seat at every turn.
Really enjoyed the storyline and demo, then progressively got very annoyed very fast. Storyline of trying to find out who the murderer is on a cruise ship, set back in time, was really interesting, but unfortunately the "playability" wasn't there. So many tasks that did not make sense, items that did not relate to anything that you had to put them with, and no clue what to do next made for just sheer frustration rather than fun. I really liked the previous ones, this just missed the mark unfortunately.
I like to challenge myself by getting through a game without using the hint button, but there was no way that was going to happen in this game. It got me thinking and playing for days on end. Sure, with an element of the magical to it, there are some things that aren't logical but it did not detract from the fun.

This is a very old school, simple HOP game. Not sure why it is a CE as is very expensive for what it is. If you just want click & fins scenes, this is def one for you.
I wish I had paid attention to the rest of the reviews before buying. This is not the same type of game at all and should not be marketed as part of the same Rescue Team. If it was called something else, might be OK, but not what I was expecting. Once I got used to it, OK, but then, there is no challenge, every mission is easy to solve, even when playing on easy, so is quite pointless. It is just like an overblown sim game. Is this the end of the line for Rescue Team?

I lasted a whole 11 minutes. I found the storyline off-putting, as the lead character is a golddigger, the movement is slow and to really finish it, the music is more annoying than nails down a blackboard. I thought for the daily deal it'd be a bit of light entertainment but not even for $3.

I wanted to like this - it's a halloween story, I like HOGs but unfortunately, there's not much good to say. The sound lags & drops right from the start, which I have never had with a BF game and isn't fixed with a reboot etc. This was far too annoying to go past the first 10 mins. In those 10 mins, nothing new about the storyline, gets right in to a friend needs rescuing, find some stuff. Hopefully a fix is either put out for this or better scary October games are coming.

Enjoyed the demo, thought it was OK, good series, enjoy the idea of a mystery at a fairground... and it was all downhill from there. Nothing made sense from then on. Every puzzle was solved with something that made no sense, some of the hidden object puzzles you have to click so carefully to get the right spot on the object to select it & in the end I only finished it because I was angry at it & wanted it done. Left me feeling meh & annoyed & disappointed.

Fun to pass the time while it's melting outside. Pity that their wasn't any checking of the English - not sure how I could "distinguish the fire on the stove"! There are a fair amount of typos like that to ignore. Currently playing the normal level and it is relatively easy to get 3 stars to if you are used to playing TM games, suggest crank it up a level.
