For those of us who have missed Emily as she used to be, with all of the old characters, gameplay hard on expert (as it should be), graphics as they were so Emily looks like herself again, and all of the simple charm of these games, it's all back.

I've played a lot of HUD and puzzle games, and this game is the one that sticks in my mind the most. The publishers of this game - if they could PLEASE be working on a sequel - I'm first in line to grab it!
The storyline is interesting - like most of these sorts of games there is a plot, but this one is especially well written. The controls are magnificent - unlike most games' "journals", this one is a notebook and it adds to the feel of the game, it's seamless and part of it. There's actual characterization in here, you get a feel for who you're playing, her personality, all of it. The puzzles are fun and not tedious except in a couple of places, and not too easy, not too hard.
This is the game that I hold all others (of this sort of HUD and puzzle game) up against now, and while I forget a lot of the others I've played, this one is the game that I can't forget.
