I understand developers thinking they need to add new things, to keep games from getting stale. But this time, they went too far. The new stuff is sometimes confusing and definitely not fun. The levels are way too easy, even on Hard. And the flow just isn't there. So disappointing.
This feels like it was cobbled together and rushed out to market, without including the things that made the previous versions so fun. The levels are super simplistic, really short, and don't get better or more interesting as you go along. It's just way too easy. Kids may like it. But I wish I had skipped this one.
A lot to like, here, but the levels are just too long. Many take over twenty minutes to complete. You may not realize how much of what resources you are going to need, starting out, and if you don't build and upgrade certain resources correctly from the beginning, you'll spend all that time without it being possible to get three stars. Although I do like a challenge and replaying levels to improve my performance, a strategy guide would really make a difference, here.
This game will require you to replay some levels many times to get gold. I'm used to having a few levels like that in a TM game, but this one is chock full of them. Almost every level has some kind of complicating factor which has to be worked around. I think they could have given us a little more time on the clock, considering what they are asking the player to accomplish. But I do like a challenge and I'm sure I'll return to those harder levels at some point.
I had been getting a little bored with the series, but this outing has enough new stuff and cute stuff that I quickly got hooked again. My only complaint is that the game doesn't keep track of your best time. Still, a fun and challenging.game.
This game started off rather nicely, but very quickly, I found myself waiting and waiting for enough food to spawn so I could actually move forward. I've been to this rodeo before and don't enjoy it. Making one resource scarce doesn't make the game exciting.
Really fun game, but it doesn't keep track of your best time on each level. For players like me, who like to keep improving their performance and beating their best time, the absence is a bummer. Still, the game runs really well and is quite addictive.
This game runs and plays beautifully, with no problems. It's also addictive and a lot of fun! And the integrated strategy guide is great. I hope this series continues!
A lot of effort has gone into making this game look and sound good, but the game-play itself is rather tedious. You build houses and collect rent. It takes so long to produce enough rent to buy more building materials, you're just siting there, half the time. This one is not for me.
