I really enjoy the 3-D effect this game offers. Turning the puzzle to find matching pieces is different and certainly adds to the challenge. The graphics are very appealing and I enjoy the music. I will say that this is not a game for those who truely want "relaxed mode." This game, even though it has option for "untimed mode," really requires you to meet time requirements in certain areas. First, you must meet the score requirement in a certain amount of time, in each regular round, to get 3 gold stars in order to open up the bonus objects. Then, you must complete each bonus item within a set time frame. Failure to do so results in having to redo that bonus item again. This doesn't sound like it's "untimed" to me, and it can be frustrating at times. However, you are not required to open up the bonus items nor finish them to move on. So, keep that in mind when playing the "untimed mode" and I believe you'll really enjoy the game.
I recommend this game!

This game is challenging only in that the match 3 board is set at an angle. It really does force a person think before making a move. But, it's not that hard once you get used to the angle and the way the blocks move. The characters pop in often to give direction, but you can click thru it quickly. I did find the story line lacking, and the graphics are a bit "cartoony." The music is "ok" but certainly not something to write home about. On the plus side, while rebuilding the citadal, you get many different choices to build it the way YOU want it to look. During the building of the citadel, you are required to build certain things at a specific time, but these can be moved or even deleted later once that requirement is completed, so it really does become your own. You also have the option to play timed or casual. If the angle is bothersome, try playing w/o the timer so you can get used to it. Overall, I find it to be a fun game, but not a real challenge. And, I have yet to get a sore neck due to the angle.
I recommend this game!

Let me say this first of all: if you don't like vintage music from the 30's, you will not like this game. I found the music to be fantastic! The graphics are reminiscent of that era. Even most of the items to find looked like things one would find in their grandparent's attic. The storyline flows nicely while maintaining what one would expect from the history of the 30's. Finding the hidden objects were challenging at times, but not too difficult. The hint button replenishes within a reasonable amount of time. I found the extra puzzles to be entertaining but a bit repeatative. It was nice to have the choice of playing with or without a timer. All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed this game. If you like vintage from the 30's, I believe you will enjoy it, too.
I recommend this game!

As an avid match 3 and dungeon player, I have thuroughly enjoyed this game. The only downside is I dream about the gameboard from playing it too long at times. :)
I recommend this game!

I got hooked on this game on my gameboy. Needless to say I was very excited to see it show up on Bigfish. I have to say my only disappointment is Bigfish has not released the "expansions" with the first Puzzle Quest unlocking additional story content and new playable characters which the smartphone apps have. Can this be something to look forward to in the future??? PLEASE?!
I recommend this game!

We (our household) thuroughly enjoyed the game. We had no issues with figuring out where to go next as the items will be red if they are not in that location and previous areas are unavailable until you find your items (making the playing field smaller). IMHO, this was easier than some of the more in depth hidden object games that can have me retracing my steps for upwards of an hour to figure out where to go next.
We enjoyed the graphics, the storyline... what there was of it, and the music (most of it).
That being said, I was very dissapointed by the ending. The leading story led me to believe the game would be much more in depth, but the ending left me with an empty feeling thinking the writers ran out of Wonderland stories to explore so they abruptly ended it. I, myself, can think of many other parts of Wonderland that were leftout and can think of no other explaination for the ending. I'm sorry I can't give more details to my dissapointment without totally spoiling the ending of the game.
