Not a bad game but just a tad too easy. Finished the demo in 39 minutes so suspect the game might not be too long. I didn't like the twitchy movement of the inventory. HOG's a bit different to the usual, so that's in it's favour, but not enough different to make it worth buying. Not a buy for me, but as usual, try before you buy. You may like it.
This is a reasonably good game, but as I finished the demo in 36 minutes, I suspect the game could be quite short (demo length is usually a good guide), so I don't think it's worth CE billing. The mini games were quite good, what ones were in the demo, and HOG's just that. Nothing different about them, and again, as the demo was so short, didn't really see many of them. Personally, I've just about given up on these type of games now. I keep downloading occasional ones, just in case I come across a gem with something fresh and new. Hasn't happened yet, and I suspect it could be quite a while before it does. All pretty much same old, same old. They've been like that for quite a while now, from pretty much all developers, and it doesn't look like changing any time soon. This game would be okay for someone fairly new to these type of games, but for seasoned players, I'm afraid not. Recommend you try before you buy. You may love it, but it's not for me.
This is just another example of Eipix taking over a well established and brilliant game series and putting their stamp on it, to the detriment of the game. Eipix games are fine as stand alone games, but I'm afraid every other series of games that they have taken over are too much alike. Same sound effects, same colours. Same, same, same. I had no intention of trying another one of these but downloaded it to at least give it the benefit of the doubt. (Hope springs eternal) Only played 20 minutes of the demo and then deleted it. Yet another disappointment. The best of the DP series were, without doubt, the earlier ones when Blue Tea alone were making them. Now, there aren't even morphs which were a great feature of the DP games. Colours in the FROGS are not as sharp and beautiful as they used to be. Hate the sound effects now. Just not the same and unless Blue Tea start making them alone, I will not be buying any more of them which makes me quite sad as I loved them. I'll probably go back and play some of the first few games in this series to cheer myself up. Can't say I hated it but definitely didn't like it much. however, that's just my opinion, and as always, try before you buy.
I am so disappointed with the quality of MCF since Eipix took over. In my opinion, they have spoiled them. Sound effects are not even the same as they used to be. Having morphing objects in the HOGS make it too much like all other Eipix games, (which have all become very samey), whereas in the earlier MCF games, the morphs were on scene screen. I'm afraid, like the Dark Parable series, too many things are changed, and I for one, won't be buying any more from either series. Really disappointed as I loved the MCF series. Return to Ravenhearst was definitely the best of the series. I can't recommend what I won't buy so try for yourselves.
This looks like a game that's been hiding at the back of a cupboard for a few years and just brought out to fill a slot. It was boring and slow. Tried it for 10 minutes then exited and deleted. Some may like it but it's not for me.
I don't recommend this game.

Grim Tales: Threads of Destiny Collector's Edition
Can you free Jackie’s parents from their deadly fates?
At last a game that's worth buying. This is based on demo only, but it looks a decent game, and hopefully not too short, as other reviewers have mentioned. Kind of reminded me of the format for Redemption Cemetery, and as I loved the early ones of that series, I decided to buy this game. Elephant Games seem to be the only regular devs who are trying to provide a decent level of challenge. Sure, there are some things that are similar to other games, but this one, based on demo, does seem to be better than the recent offerings from other devs. There seems to be a lot of back and forth looking for stuff, but that's what these games are all about, and so far, no broken zipper YIPPEE. Hope I'm not speaking too soon!! I'm recommending it but as always, try before you buy. It may not be to everyone's taste.
When oh when are we going to get a really original HOP game? Every one for months now have been more of the same and this one is no exception. Trial lasted 41 minutes so the game must be pretty short but I'm definitely not going to buy it to find out. Objectives seem to be the same as every other game i.e. broken zipper OMG. How often do we see that. I've resorted to playing games that I bought 4 years ago as they at least provide a level of challenge. This one, like all others recently, would be fine for new players, but not for me.
This is another case of 'been there done that'. Not a buy for me as I have so many other games that are so similar, it's just not worth spending money on another one. This is based on demo only and it looks ok, but just a bit boring as it's all been done before. This would be fine for those not familiar with this developer's games, as they are all much of a muchness now. So recommend you try before you buy.
At last, a CE worth buying. This review is based on demo only, but I couldn't wait for the demo to finish so that I could buy it. It's part of the Haunted Hotel series, but it is quite different from the others. These devs have really tried to keep the interest of game players, and as far as I'm concerned, they have done just that. Thank goodness it's not a rehash of all previous games in the series. Really enjoyed the demo and am really looking forward to playing the rest of the game. Other devs take note, as some of the recent CE's have been total rubbish. This one is not, so well done Elephant Games. Keep it up.
Based on demo only as I won't be buying this one. Completed the demo in 44 minutes!! Looks like it could be good for anybody who hasn't played many games like this before, but seasoned players like me are looking for something more. HO's are just that, nothing different or challenging and gameplay is much the same as in all the recent games. Puzzles looked like they could be ok and graphics are quite good but that is not enough to make me want to carry on playing this game. I'm really getting very bored with the CE's coming out lately. Come on BFG. Something new and exciting PLEASE!
