I must of bought the regular version fortunately not the CE quite a while ago because I just went back to play it and I have no Idea why I bought it. the hidden objects are frustrating I click and click and cant seem to find anything, the game seems dated and basically boring. I can't even manage to finish it. I don't use sound so can't rate that and tried playing for a while to figure out why I bought it and kept hoping it would get better but it just didn't. no map although at least the hint button works well and recharges fast but otherwise cant recommend this game.

thank goodness for a great hint button that recharges quickly the only reason I didn't go all the way to five stars is a map would have been nice and some of the finding was a bit much and too dark or hard to find. I also skipped a number of the games, they were just too hard for me. I don't use sound so can't rate that but I like saving souls so that was fun. this is based on the regular game, not the CE - I don't care for all the extras and the CE was simply not necessary for this game for me. I don't use sound so can't rate that but over all I enjoyed the game and recommend it.

I enjoyed this game, I am very glad I got the CE because the hint was good but sometimes confusing - especially when I needed to give something to the dog, the CE walk through helped, also since there is no map having the CE was a god send. otherwise I enjoyed the game, this developer seems to be consistently good in my opinion. I don't use sound so can't rate that and I am not big on the extra's, by the time I finish a game I generally want to stop and move on so the extra's are not important to me but over all a great game.

you are there to help but others will only help you if you help them? I played a short time and found it not exciting. games were hard to see, a map but hard to know where to go, directions were not helpful maybe if there are major changes made I'll reconsider but for now I can not recommend this game, too boring and frustrating.

as others said it is a follow up to other midnight mysteries but this one just didn't cut it for me. I played the demo and got tired and bored and the games frustrated me, I skipped all of the ones I came to, nothing was making sense to me. the idea of helping Lincoln is intriguing but I just couldn't get into this one, definitely not the collectors edition. if it comes out as a regular I might try it again and see if any improvements have been made but unfortunately right now I can't recommend this game.

the idea and story line was good but the game did not do it for me. the hint button is good and tells you where to go but you have to remember where every place is. there is a map but it is not really helpful because it doesn't name the places to go for the most part and the last straw was near the end I was supposed to get a gas mask but didn't and couldn't go back to where it was so I couldn't finish the game. so unfortunately I can not recommend this game.
I don't recommend this game.

enjoyable to play, both a map and helpful hint button, what more can I ask for! you find and save your friend. reasonable games etc. over all a great game. I don't use sound so cant rate that. and this is based on the regular game not collectors. over all I definitely recommend this game.

I generally enjoyed this game. the level of challenge was good, this review is based on the regular version, not CE. the hint button works so well that CE was not necessary for me. at least the hint told you where to go not just nothing more to do here. a map would have been helpful however and for some reason the hint stopped worked at one point toward the end but then was fine so not sure what happened there. my only complaint is the same as others, the end - you work so hard to save the place and then it's over. I seem to often have this problem. why can't the developers give us a bit more at the end to show us what we have accomplished. otherwise, great game.

first I am very glad I bought the collectors, I don't generally buy collectors since I don't care about the extra's but once in a while I come across a game where I need the help and this is one. there is no map and I would not have known where to go next with out the help. the story line is okay, you get fun pets to help you etc. the only reason I am not overwhelmed is how it ended. all of the sudden it was over and I really don't know what I accomplished. I found the pets, I think I saved the place but it was all unclear. I don't use sound so can't rate that. I will recommend because it is an interesting story line, I think the pets are great and I like the idea of being invisible

the story line is interesting, the idea is great and the games are fine. however, it is one of the most frustrating games I've played. the hint tells you where to go but not how to get there. if you don't remember where something is you are stuck. no map and no clues, when your mouse points to a place to enter nothing gives you the name of that place. I played and bought but then hadn't played for a bit. when I went back I was totally frustrated, didn't know where anything was so the hint didn't help me at all. maybe if I played straight through it would be fine but not even sure about that. unfortunately I can't recommend this game even though I would like to.
