While scrolling a seemingly endless list of Big Fish games looking for something with a different slant, I discovered “Rubber Dubber”. Say what? I click on it and I’m taken to a game with zero reviews. So I’m thinking, “Okay, don’t blow it off – give the game a chance”. Glad I did! “Rubber Dubber” involves utilizing strategy combined with unique reverse snap shots – an arrangement successfully designed to provide many hours of enjoyment. Obviously an extremely talented group of programmers put their heads together and created pure fun. Enjoy.
Okay, by now you’ve read the glowing, positive reviews of this little game – and they’re 100% spot-on. So let me add my two cents and unequivocally give this gem two enthusiastic thumbs-up. Please download it, play “Tennis in the Face” for an hour and decide for yourself. Odds on, you’ll buy this amazing game without a second thought. Is it that good? Absolutely. Thank you and have fun.
Unfortunately, there are several exceedingly negative reviews of this game. How sad the low assessments mostly complained of a confusing game where step by step instructions are not included. Occasionally in life, you don’t receive a written guide – you are required to solve your dilemma through trial and error. For example, Christopher Columbus and his ilk were without specific maps and directions prior to sailing toward the new world. Fortunately, they had both confidence and the tenacity to find the answers that would disclose the unknown and get them to their desired destination.
“Great Little War Game” provides superb graphics and just enough information to get you started. The rest is entirely up to you. Many years ago there was a game called “Myst” where the player finds and discovers clues. Following in the same vein, GLWG provides just enough information to keep you moving along. You are required to figure out how to best position your units for an optimal result and solve the problem. Given, this is not an easy process. Happily, you can undo your troop placement as many times as you wish prior to committing your units to action. Should you get it wrong, try again. If you enjoy a solid mental challenge, GLWG is an undiscovered gem that delivers the goods. Stick with this and many hours of superb game-play await you. Peace.
War Chess is a remarkable twist on this classic game. Brilliant actually – it introduces an unexpected element of fun into each move. There are two chess boards. The main board shows the animated action figures and the small board is a standard chess display. You move the pieces within the small board and then watch your move translated into lifelike movement on the large board. Outstanding! I played one round of chess and immediately made my purchase. Both the color and graphics are superb. If you love chess, you stand a good chance of being pleasantly surprised from your first move forward. Two thumbs up.
To be fair this game has a lot of positives - nice graphics, interesting storyline and you will be challenged. What ruined it for me was the exorbitant amount of mouse clicking required to destroy the attackers. Simply ridiculous. You have an excellent opportunity to develop a serious callous on your index finger and/or wear out your mouse. Other than that, go for it! Peace.
Perused the preponderance of negative reviews and thought, it just can't be that bad. Glad I downloaded this game. Here are a lot of fun puzzles in which you must employ both timing and skill to solve. Starts out simple in order to acclimate you with what is required to win. Then, it gets far more interesting as you advance. Nice to know there are some creative, inventive, fun loving game designers out there who can craft an addictive and fun experience. Give this game a try - it can suck you in. Two enthusiastic thumbs up! Peace.
I recommend this game!

This game is a gem. I salute the developers for a job well done. The tried and true of game of Battleship has matriculated to the next level. Wonderful graphics, superb sound effects and more can be controlled within the Settings Screen. You select either the Full Screen or Small screen mode. Additionally you choose if you want the Sound, the Cut Scenes or the Hidden Targets. You can enter your name for promotion in rank and there is a handy Game Reset button. A ship chart is provided during game play showing you both the hit count and elimination of enemy ships.
You have three modes of play: Classic – one shot targeting one sea square per hit. Salvo – one shot initially targets five sea squares per hit. The salvo is reduced as you lose ships in your fleet. (5-4-3-2-1) Super Weapons – you select from an array of sophisticated armament.
When playing in Super Weapons mode, the game speed is kicked into high gear. You cover more sea squares with on shot and can pick unique defensive items. Examples: SHELL – Standard explosive shell targeting a single sea square. FRAG BOMB – targeting 5 sea squares. AIR STRIKE – depositing a horizontal line of 3 spaced explosive hits. CHAIN GUN – cutting through a vertical line of 5 sea squares. SHIELD – providing each ship with force field technology that deflects the first hit. SEA MINE – that drifts 1 sea square per turn until it hits a ship. DECOY – that gives a false ship indication to the enemy when hit. TORPEDO – will continue in a straight line until impact. CHERRY BOMB – targets 5 sea squares. WHITE STAR – fragmentation bomb targeting 9 sea squares. SUPERNOVA – device dropped from the air that kills any ship it hits instantly. EMP SHELL – that targets a single sea square and drains power from enemy super weapons. REINFORCEMENT – provides you with an extra cruiser to bolster your fleet. SKY SWORD – is an orbiting energy weapon that obliterates 13 sea squares at impact.
I am impressed at the many variations of play available to the gamer. You choose your style of Battleship. Please give this wonderful upgrade of Battleship your serious consideration. Thank you.
I recommend this game!

A few years ago a gamer could purchase a copy of Risk II – an incredible PC game with excellent full screen graphics, optional voice narration, multiple statistical graphic tables breaking down how your army fared at games end and superb classical music. Unfortunately, there isn’t a version of this game for Windows 7. Recently, my older PC running Windows XP crashed and died. Obviously, I can no longer enjoy the Risk II computer game.
When a new version of Risk became available on BFG, I hoped it would be a worthy successor to Risk II. Sadly, this is a basic, small screen version without the sophistication I was expecting. Since I am an avid fan of Risk, I feel that something is better than nothing. Yes, I made this purchase and embraced compromise. I give the game two stars only – three deductions for poor graphics, small screen and basic sound.
To reiterate, I’m a Risk junky so I needed my “fix”. Please play this version and make your own decision. Peace.

This game would be far more fun had an instruction page been included. Everything here is strictly a trial and error process. There are no descriptions of what the power ups will do or an explanation regarding the methods to dispatch the rodents, spiders, bugs, etc. in order to maximize your point total.
On the plus side, the graphics are nice and the music is exceptional. Predicated upon the fact there is no help page, I give this game a less than enthusiastic recommendation.

Garden Rescue is more fun than a barrel full of puppies! It has incredible graphics, superb game-play and wide array of plant-weapons to defend your garden. Choose among three levels of difficulty: Play as a Private, Sergeant or General. All levels will challenge your brainpower. Try it – then buy it! Peace.
