One thing I will say about this game is that it will keep you occupied for some time, no short chapters here. I played in the harder mode, which was supposed to suspend sparkles but it doesn't. That said it did not make the game easier, nor does the hint button which more or less tells you to move on rather than solve the hint. The graphics are fine, game was a little slow especially as you have to move back and forward to find anything. It really makes you think though. The game changes after the first starting scenes and seems to slow down from an adventure to a straight HOG and the plot slows down too. The narration sound vanished in the video cut scenes and I had to rely on text to tell me what was happening but background music was tolerable. I was disappointed by the ending - I don't like games that hook you in for the next episode and prefer stand alone stories. It is not the best game ever made but based on length and cleverness in mini games as well as general game play I would say it is reasonably good value.
I recommend this game!

Some people do not like the 3D type graphic games, I personally don't mind and this is one of the better ones. The storyline is a twist of on a classic tale and should keep you interested. The mini games are very good with some new challenges. A little bit dark in places to find hidden objects and i confess I had to use the hint button to find one or two. You can change the level of difficulty during the game if you need to, or upgrade if it is going all too well! I downgraded the rating of the sound quality because it vanished a couple of times while playing and I had to quit and restart to get the sound back on my mac book pro. Rather weak ending (it seemed a bit abrupt) but all games have to end somehow I guess. It was enjoyable fun for a few hours.
I recommend this game!

I sort of enjoyed this but it ended up with too many items I had to juggle in my mind to make it work. I got bored too quickly with this one to make it worth my buying. Sorry but not for me, too fiddly.
Help gnomes to return the magic crystal and rebuild their underworld kingdom.

really enjoyed this game, it kept me occupied for days trying to get all the gold levels..... only to discover after reading the forums that a couple of the levels were next to impossible. On a pc some gamers had resorted to resetting game levels, not possible on a mac unless you are a programmer. However, cheating is not how a game is meant to be played, so I never got to achieve the ultimate goal on this game. I decided life is too short to keep playing for the impossible and in the end the game had lost its challenge and fun. So I recommend this game with caution. A good game if you don't mind a huge amount of repetition on one or two levels. The rest is good fun.

I took me a full two days to play this game on the hardest mode possible, you have a choice of three and you will find game play to suit everyone in this game. Normally I can finish a game in a few hours, so it was excellent to find a challenging game. The mini play was not so difficult but game play is superb. The story will hold your interest, the graphics is very clear and the all round quality of the game is excellent. Very good value for money this one. I have no hesitation in recommending immediate purchase.

tried it but it was ultra slow to start, lasted about 3 mins and the I was bored. Far too simplistic but might suit a very young player. BFG should have reserved this for kids play only. Was looked for a way to give this a minus rating!
I don't recommend this game.
Help your father manage his safari park to turn it into a successful venture full of tourists eager to watch exotic animals.

I tried this for 10 mins and then gave up mainly because I found the controls very clumsy. It was not obvious what you were doing and what to do next. The graphics were very grainy and that was on the highest setting. The object was to take visitors around an animal park and improve the zoo. The music was a little irritating but then they usually on TM games. Sorry I tried it but it did not hold my interest at all. Maybe a much younger player would be more interested.
I don't recommend this game.
Everyone is frightened by the sights and sounds of something large stumbling through the darkness. Can you solve the mystery before the monster adds another chapter to this legend?

This is a very typical Nancy Drew game. Lots of walking around and in and out of rooms. Far too much conversation for me though to wade through and you have to click on each person's next line of conversation. I found I was losing interest before the demo hour was up, in fact that first hour was pretty much back fill conversation with the inhabitants of the castle that Nancy's latest case was based on. I am sure it will get better but I am not going to buy it to find out. I don't like games that are slow to play and it is overly descriptive of the characters. Great if you like taking days and days to play a game, which is not my style. No problems play the game though, these are well developed and styled games, although I did find the screen a tad dark for my Mac pro (on brightest setting). Sorry but not enough excitement for me... a bit too Miss Marple for my liking.
I recommend this game!

I played this game all the way through and it kept me guessing as how to finish it all the way to the end. Extremely good value for money and the western theme was fun to play. The mini games are about the right difficulty which I played in the harder no hint mode, includes lots of puzzles, none of which I felt the need to skip. The graphics are fine and the sound effects good. Don't be put off by the western theme, once you are playing the game you forget the genre and get into the storyline. I thoroughly enjoyed this game and found it extremely good value for money. Lasted well and an exceptional SE, a really good game.

If you are a fan of SCI-FI, you will absolutely love this game. If you are fan of HOGs then be prepared for double the fun. I played the demo and immediately bought it and have only just finished playing non stop. I smiled when I finished this one. It was great value for money. The graphics are superb, the sound effects and music is terrific but most of all it is a very original story and is thoroughly well thought out with genuine progression to the tale. The sci fi background is very different and brings a new dimension to the mini games, while are not overly difficult, they will keep you interested. I played the hard mode in this ( you have a choice of two) and it did keep me guessing as to what to do next. Not all moves are obvious which kept me going. There is a map which will enable you to jump to places so you are not going back over the same areas all the time, this helps as you get deeper into the game. The map becomes essential as the game play is huge in this game, seems like they developed a whole new planet... it was just terrific to play. Give it a try, you won't me disappointed. Well done guys, more of the same please.
