I did not find the story line as engaging as many of the other HOGs offered by BFG. (ie the Echoes of the Past and Midnight Mysteries series). As well, I had way too many crashes to my desk top, at least a dozen, while playing the game. That did not help keep me interested. Rather, I tended to forget about playing it for days on end. Most games I play through within days. This one took me months to finish as I found it rather boring.
But it was very easy to complete once I got the game to run. If you enjoy a more casual game, you will like this game.
I recommend this game!

This is the prequel game to Rita James and the Race to Shangri La. This is a cute game, not overly taxing. Casual players will enjoy it. It does contain HOGs but the story line and other puzzles are distracting enough that you won't mind the HOGs if you don't particularly like them.
This is a fun game but it isn't very challenging. I would only recommend it for people looking for a fun easy game or something they can play with their children.
It is definitely something children can play as it is not overly demanding.
I must say the level of challenge was not particularly high but sometimes that is nice when you want to have some fun. I also liked that it was educational with all the information about the Eiffel Tower included within the game. If the Eiffel Tower is ever a Category on Jeopardy, I'm ready!
I was able to get gold on all the levels except the two where you have to do a great deal of clicking to kill some thieves. All that multiple clicking is difficult for me, makes me lose all the sensation in my fingers. However on the whole it was not a major click fest as some of these games tend to run.
The levels were repetitive at times but each one had its own set goal and gave you something to work for as I enjoy those type of challenges: here is your goal now go accomplish it.
I have played better games in this genre and I have played worse. I'd say this one is good if you are getting tired of all the HOGs and need a break.
I did not think I would find a HOG game to replace my favorite but this one does. The graphics are amazing. The story line keeps you fully engaged and wanting to keep going. And the game is educational without being preachy.
This game gets an A+ from me. I'm going to look into the previous releases of the series as well.
I enjoyed this game very much despite the massive amount of clicking involved which is not my favorite thing to do. However, I took breaks between levels and found that helped to keep my hand from going numb.
With 48 levels plus 4 bonus levels, the game was well worth the money as far as game time. It was challenging and got harder as the levels progressed.
I think it is worth the money for those of you that enjoy this type of game. Try it while you are waiting for the latest MKFTP or similar.
