I was very disappointed in this game. I bought it W/O trying it. I assumed that it would be like games 1 thru 5. It is not. There are often no created spots to add the color; U get a blank spot where to put the color & the blank spot has a black background. VERY DISAPPOINTED. Don't follow my lead. Try all before purchasing. I trusted too much.
I don't recommend this game.

This is the first of this type of game that I've played. It took me a little while to "get it", but it is truly a superb game. The solitaire game is fine...what comes after is truly the most fun as you are asked to build a "city" beneath the sea. I loved this game, I just found out there is a Level 2 out so I am buying it ASAP.
It took me a while to understand how the emeralds relate to the scenes we create. The first time I played this game, it did not move on to the second level of creation. But it may have more to do w/my computer which is acting up.
I would also like to see more explanations at the beginning of the game explaining how we move between the levels as we progress & create from each scene. The creation of the scenes gives this game so much fun and joy. There are at least 4 or 5 levels to build each new city.
I'd personally would also like to see a more communications as we move to play the various levels of Bonus Mahjong, along w/ other solitaire games, etc. To me there was a disconnect as to how and when to play these games.
My last comment is on the clearness of the last scenes created. The first one is perfect, but I think the quality of the underwater pictures need improvement so we can truly appreciate the beauty created. I love this game SO MUCH that I just want it to be the very best it can be.

None of this is a serious criticism. I LOVED THIs GAME, AND i HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT TO ALL

I love solitaire, but there are few unique games left & they just have gamer take cards that are upper or lower. This game allows U to create a city or community or a place that is beautifully created! W/each successful level, U can add to the picture that U will ultimately create. I can play this game over and over and never get bored. I think U will have fun w/it. (sorry, I don't listen to the sound). Please note that my favorite game is a "sister" game to this game. Dreamland Solitaire: Dragon's Fury is a larger version of Dreamland Solitare. I LOVE THEM BOTH!!! Good Luck. Give them a try!

This is truly one of my favorite Games ever, & I've been playing Games since the beginning of Computer video games when they all cost $19.99. I am not a good one for reading the stories in games. The 1st time I played it, I missed a lot. So I played it again, and read all. Story is truly sad, romantic & great. The fact re: the 1st Titanic were great. This is Titanic 2 . w/characters we get to know. Can't recommend it enough! I promise U will enjoy it. Honest! ;}

NEED HELP IN 12 LABOURS OF HERCULES: RACE FOR OLYMPICS
LEVEL 1.8 MAGIC PORTAL
I can't find whatever allows me to attain the puzzle option. I have found the two black monsters hiding. The Jar tells me that there are 2 options to find. I found them. I have played game oover 5 times, but can't find any other that will give me the puzzle icon. I am playing in the center game style HELP PLEASE....
I recommend this game!
Fitzpatrick McGovern is long gone, but his mysterious lost legacy is still out there! Find it in Big City Adventure: London Story!

I totally disliked this game. I have played most of the other Big City games. There is an ebb and flow and YOU, THE PLAYER, can figure out where to go and what to do next.
WITHOUT THE WALKTHROUGH -- that is, thankfully provided, I would never have been able to figure out what to do next. That reduced all level of fun for me. After the first few levels, I was unable to play this game w/out the Walkthrough. To me, a walkthrough should assist, not be the Game Bible...leading us to every play option.
I loved the historical idea of the game, but the game process, at least or me, was a disaster. I am impressed that so many people loved the game and enjoyed it, BUT I honestly don't understand it!!!
I don't recommend this game.
Search for thousands of cleverly hidden items around the historic sites of Tokyo. Play a bunch of fun mini-games too.

I own all of the Big City Adventure Games. I adore them. They are fun....AND if U take the time to read all of the information provided @ each level, It is a wonderful learning experience!
BUT ONE PROBLEM: Up to level 7 and I have only found ONE GEAR!! Any Suggestions.
For me, that is the only flaw. All of the other City Adventures have objects that are reasonable to find. For me...the gears are not easy to find. I do hope the Designers, keep these games coming. There are so many more nations and cities to explore. Thanks for the Fun!!

First: the items are way TOO SMALL. They should have put a magnifying glass into the game. I'd say I used the hint about 75% of the time just to find the items. I really LIKED the story line. And the information was fun at the Road Show. RE: decoder..It took me 3/4 of the game to figure out how the decoder works HINT: Find the Letter and number 13C etc. Put the center of the decoder on that letter/number. The center will freeze and then follow the numbers in the different areas to determine the words. Keep in mind the numbers show U which word U will create. There should be more help however.
FINALLY...Can someone tell me how this game ends. I have found the Roman numerals in the painting..but I don't know what to do w/them & the game won't move one.
So HELP.. What is the end, and how do I get there!!! I would recommend the game as I did enjoy it...

Has Hidden Objects and Puzzles! I found it easy at some places and hard at others. The puzzles are the hardest for me

I am not one who pays attention to the creativity of the game itself. I just Like to play the game! I am currently playing the Island Series in order. The other 3 preceding games have been fun.
However, Islands 4 is just so much more unique, individual, and fun! The characters in the story are adorable, and have such personality that I was pleased and surprised that tiny "Island People" could bring such joy to me. The Mama Panda Bear cries because her baby has hurt and Mama Panda can't help her. It was emotional for me seeing her "cry". This is just an example of how adorable this game and it's Island family is! (I hope I have not gone crazy..but I think not!). I just want to communicate to you how much fun this game is, and how I have gotten involved in this story of the sweet characters who work to re-create the game scene.
I hope you try this game. And I hope it brings you as much joy as it has to me! Take Care and Enjoy!!
