EIPIX is probably one of the best Developers that ever graced the gaming world. Deadly Deception is a mix of genius with all the classy attributes to offer gamers.
Definitely a purchase to add to an ever growing BFG collection. Thank you Developers for a job well done! Enjoy! -Mama Mia-
Who doesn't love the Dark Parables sequels? Believe it or not, I first turned my nose up due to the fragmented hidden object scenes and refused to purchase/play. I'm a big fan of Big Fish Games and appreciate EIPIX in picking up the gauntlet for Blue Tea Games to carry on the outstanding pc gaming tradition in Dark Parables.
Goldilocks is not your usual meek and mild mannered damsel. She is bold, beautiful, courageous and not necessarily in that order. One of the best compliments I can give is that the demo truly represents the game and continues true to form throughout gameplay.
Without comparing Dark Parables then and now, the gaming bar of excellence is still held high. Enjoy! -Mama Mia-
Story actually revolves and evolves around people without magical powers. Gamers who search for a great game, this older 2014 is perfect. Dark mystery with dark surroundings. Hand drawn artwork is awesome. Challenging and captivating, gamers will be on the edge of their seat as well as play this one straight through.
After playing Mystery Tag Developers' "Blue Tear," I went back through my game archives to find more Mystery Tag games. Pleasant surprise--had not finished "Hope Lake". Started over since it had been a couple years. There went my entire Saturday. Intended to play an hour or so and played the entire day about ten hours as game is lengthy with numerous hidden objects and puzzles. I also read everything and the journal is outstanding as well. Game moves quickly and did have to use the hint several times as the objects did not match exactly match words. Isn't a big deal to me. Everything else was perfect imho.
Speedy interactive map was a must with so much to do and so many places to go. Have to hand it to these developers as they really put their all into this game. Some scenes are darker than others, however, a handy flashlight is provided. Wish all developers provided one! There was not one zipper pull to repair btw! Yay!
As this is an older game, I still thoroughly enjoyed playing. Definitely recommend to veteran gamers and those seeking a challenge maybe tired of the mindless razzle dazzle.
Demo is a bit deceiving and could turn away gamers. Why? Game is challenging with no walkthrough and gamers have to think for a change. Interactive map and hint system are quite helpful, yet, thinking, figuring out, trying different tools still is involved. Hand-drawn, beautiful scenes start gamers transported back in time to a far-away land among believers in dark magic. The main object of their focus and the root of problems is, you guessed it, the "Blue Tear". Is it cursed?
Point and click adventure gamers will totally love this game as did I. There are challenging hidden objects and puzzles as well. Along with the helpful interactive map, hint and skip options will assist any gamers who find themselves stuck. There's also an excellent, separate walkthrough online.
I initially played and purchased then let it go for a while. Went back to the game and have been playing the past two to three days as game is rather lengthy. This is a great game once you get settled in and leave comparing other games aside. Takes time, patience and the skills we should have acquired by now in pc gaming. This is the type of gameplay that we wait for and rarely find. No fireworks, just good old gaming! Enjoy! -Mama Mia-
In the age of computer graphics, it's rare to find a beautifully detailed hand drawn game. Dark and dreary is gone! Music is soothing. Hidden object scenes are straight forward. Objects are bright and bold with no hair pulling to find one that is morphing. Interactive map is genius material. No guess work there either!
Gamers who prefer to play a more leisurely and captivating standard edition in their down time, will appreciate Amulet of Dreams. More old school is better in my humble opinion especially since developers put their hearts into this gem! Enjoy! -Mama Mia-
When a famous shapeshifting alchemist is charged with looking into the murder of the king's most trusted agent and friend, the last thing she expects to discover is an intricate network of shadowy criminals, intent on bringing chaos to the land.
Refreshing distraction from so many dark and somber games, Queen's Quest 2 will steal away your heart!
Actually liked so much, I purchased first installment of Queen's Quest--completed that and left positive review. Made a mistake though and gave credit to the wrong developers. Wish to apologize to Developers Brave Giant Studio.
Fun game and lengthy of two full off work days with normal breaks. Still going to finish the bonus chapter! Story was really well thought out and written. Detailed artwork is bold and beautiful. Didn't find one zipper to mend--well, maybe one! :)) Enjoy! -Mama Mia-
Story loosely based on "Through the Looking Glass" where Alice enters a backward world. The numerous positive reviews are as backward as the story as well as misleading to those gamers who may purchase based on reading reviews only.
Definitely play the demo first. Found story shallow and disjointed. Gameplay was confusing. Enjoy! -Mama Mia-
Better late than never, was pleasantly surprised with this artistic and boldly beautifully colored, detailed artwork. Did I get all of that in there? See for yourself. Not just another going after the bad guy. Game is peppered with lots of hidden objects and puzzles. Flowed smoothly with objects quickly utilized.
Mildly interested, began this 2014 game after playing excellent Enigmatis 3 by Artifex Mundi who have shot to the top as one of my favorite Developers. Artists invested their time with such breathtaking detail. Standard plays like a CE with bonus, achievements, collectibles and other CE extras.
Story unfolds as you plod your way. Following the evil thing who stole your child, you right more than one wrong. Please don't leave, my Lady!
Give this little gem a try and hang in there. Very relaxing and great game for all ages as one other reviewer so aptly stated. Enjoy! -Mama Mia-
I recommend this game!

PuppetShow: The Face of Humanity Collector's Edition
The mayor's daughter is missing and you must find her!
PuppetShow initially was a huge hit. There was little challenge with a weak plot. Still, the eerie atmosphere lingers like the shadows of a once great game. And so, this veteran gamer will give due respect and recommend to newcomers. However, unless there's a change, will pass on future ERS games. Enjoy! -Mama Mia-
After playing one of the best pc games ever--Enigmatis 3, I decided to go back and play or replay all of the Artifex Mundi Developers' games in my BFG Collection. How did I miss playing The Forsaken Bride is a mystery to me, however, a happy and pleasant surprise!
Ever excellent, this older game was ahead of it's time in every aspect and even better than most games today. An interesting, absorbing unfolding story line is my personal top of the list in gaming excellence along with unparalleled, exquisite cut scenes that flowed ever so smoothly. My only regret is I got so caught up in the ending excitement, that I forgot to collect the last Morphing Collectible for the Achievement! Ah!
Played all day with some minor breaks. Much to do in both the regular and bonus chapters. Enjoy! Enjoy! -Mama Mia-
