Preferred Havana Nights to the previous Cadenza games. Storyline was interesting and flowed smoothly. Gamers who may become attached to the earlier stories seem reluctant to be accepting of this one that is excellent in it's own right.
For this gamer, Havana Nights was entertaining and unique--a pleasant change from magical mystical that has been sorely overdone. Still, who doesn't like dragons. I do!
New Orleans' reputation in the craft of voodoo and witch craft is world renown and mostly overdone by the big screens. However, Havana Nights was a great blend of New Orleans' jazz and the ancient art of Chinese herbalists. Mad Head Games did their research and presented a work of art. For me, when the story is interesting, the game is worth playing especially with Mad Head Games Developers. Enjoy! -Mama Mia-
If you think you have problems, think again. Here's an unfortunate--to say the least--group of folks who had misfortunes befallen them and they didn't take it well. Can't say that I blame them.
Thoroughly appreciated the morphed storyline and character development, puzzles, hidden objects, music and top quality cut scenes. There is definitely the shock treatment, however, there's also a good balance within the game.
Ah! Enjoyed taking a sample psychological Rorschach inkblot test--although I believe leisurely talking while playing a game of pool builds a more trusting rapport.
Usually purchase and play games later due to time restraints, yet demo was so intriguing, played game twice straight through. The Whispered Secrets sequels are quickly becoming some of my most favorite. Thank you Grand Ma Studios and BFG! Enjoy! -Mama Mia-
Lengthy game with lots to do and challenging. Eipix--still high quality, has evolved lately to less difficult puzzles and HOPS. Gamers who enjoy something interesting and packed with goodies will certainly appreciate this 2015 Brassfield Manor CE.
Poor Bob has his hands full. Arlene? Duh, she "dropped" him ten years ago as he says to new love Sarah. Well, something's not right and it's a whole lot of problems for everyone. Arlene is somehow back and spreading destruction. She's definitely angry with Bob! I'm sure he has a good reason for everything. Can't wait to hear this one!
Creative puzzles, HOPS, and match puzzles to win battles over scary monsters. Well written with dashes of humor make for a pleasant gaming experience. Thank you MARIAGLORUM and BFG! Enjoy! -Mama Mia-
Different spin on Goldilocks story. Gamers who play through will understand storyline that is not evident just with demo.
Relaxing and enjoyable. A refreshing change from dark and somber. HOPS, music, cut scenes all top quality and creative. Especially liked the bear puzzle! Enjoy! -Mama Mia-
I usually applaud Eipix Devs, yet, not this time. There's psychological thriller and then there's in poor taste which Behind the Mask fits all too well. Devs got carried away on the story line which started out interesting enough with an invitation to a family reunion. Who thinks these things through? Different scenarios should have been used to reflect sick-o family members. Could and would say more but my review probably would not be posted. No challenge for gamers like myself who yearn for substance rather than shock treatment.
Played the game through with bonus content plus all the extras, HOP's, puzzles, etc. Will select next Eipix games more carefully in the future.
Very enjoyable gaming experience. Most of all, the plot makes sense from beginning to end which is rare and important to me as a gamer. Music, artwork, cut-scenes all worthy of five stars.
Talk about pre-wedding jitters, Anthony and Ella have their share in this Cadenza sequel which surpasses the first Cadenza in my humble opinion.
Bravo to Mad Head Games Developers and BFG! Enjoy! -Mama Mia-
Great artwork and musical score. Finished game quickly not because it's all that short, rather, I skipped parts which is very unlike me.
Puzzles were challenging. Hidden objects were creative and time era appropriate. A lot of back and forth with picking up items from soup to nuts. Storyline had no mystery--no intrigue--for a whodunit, however, the game was very well presented. Developers worked hard to bring this game about. Maybe today wasn't my day. Enjoy! -Mama Mia-
EIPIX presents an even faster paced game than ever with their usual excellent quality workmanship Scenes are beautifully drawn, even breathtaking and not as cluttered as some of their prequels. The puzzles, though, could have used much more challenge in my humble opinion.
What happens when love versus greed and all for the Liberty Stone? Gamers will have to find out for themselves as no spoilers here. Enjoy! -Mama Mia-
In the continuation of the exciting Mountain Trap series, you are called to help the town of Wilshere, which has been afflicted by a series of mysterious disappearances.
Excellent sequel with updated scenes, hidden objects and puzzles. Hint and map more efficient especially where to go. This challenging game can turn gamers around a corner or two. Enjoyed very much the in-depth puzzles that haven't been around since pure adventure games.
You're out to solve disappearances that just happens to coincide with an earlier mystery from Mountain Trap 1.
If you're bored with cookie cutter games that are mostly bells and whistles, try Mountain Trap 2. Enjoy! -Mama Mia-
