After purchasing and playing all the Final Cut sequels, yet, another sequel makes it's way to BFG and, again, to this gamer's attention. Somehow, some way, EIPIX Developers find a way to keep the games fun, interesting and challenging.
Particularly like having the option to re-enter the various scenes after main game is finished to find collectibles I may have missed as well as to search for souvenirs and again admire the brilliant artwork without having to re-play the entire game.
The Bonus Game in The True Escapade was creative and very well done. Have to hand it to these talented and brilliant developers who can make even the "Credits" interesting and fun to read!

Amazed that Eipix Developers continue with this series and, yet, keep each game fresh and exciting. Brilliant voice overs and cut scenes. Nothing is spared in the Collectors Editions with bonus game, HOP,s, puzzles, souvenirs, collectibles, etc. A game within a game!

At 1st glance on the demo, thought game was very well done with voice overs, collectibles, well-thought story line and was prepared to give a 4-star review. That was five plus hours ago!
Decided to purchase and have not been able to put the game away! Like a breath of fresh air, Cateia Games has produced a masterpiece of a game with creative puzzles and hidden object games that are jam packed with variety along with a surprisingly good story! Our heroine is actually looking for some one and something and going after them-- not running away from which I find quite refreshing.
Without a lot of glitz and sparkle, this little gem holds it's own! Thank you Cateia Game Developers! Keep them coming! Great job! Enjoy! -Mama Mia-

This lengthy game deserves high marks all around and I would highly recommend the CE version.
Immersive story line leads gamer down the halls of the cursed castle to find out who, when and why this particular family is cursed.
Haunting music and heart wrenching tale reaches down to the very depths of one's soul and almost brought this gamer to tears a number of times. Have never had a game affect me in such a manner that I could not wait to lock myself in my room and play without being disturbed!
I really hope this game wins some type of 2014 gaming award as it is certainly well deserved.

Some complain the game is old. I don't see it, however, are gamers ready to take on the challenge to beat this "old" game without a walkthrough--without skipping and without hints to genuinely earn and collect achievements?
The game is awesome with about everything a Collector's Edition has except the walkthrough. Collect rare flowers and tropical bugs--called scarabs. The storyline is solid and leads gamers down a path rather than tell everything up front.
Actually had to start over as I didn't take the game seriously at first and thought it was just a fill-in. Trying to figure the light sequence at the gate lock and may be there a while.

Okay, so I didn't like the game during 1st release. Now, I'm back trying to find a decent game on BFG and decided to replay Reel Life. Obviously, there was nothing wrong with the game, only the reviewer as I find the game very creative and fun. That's what I call a good game--one that stands up to the test of time. Please forgive me, Elephant Devs!
Ahead of it's time, Reel Life HOS are large and, if you don't pay attention to your Inventory list, you'll be clicking around like me before realizing that an item just may fit into the scene!
As another reviewer stated, either Surface games are very, very good or very bad. This certainly is one of the good.

Off the beaten path of the usual dragons, witches and evil black smoke everywhere, "Plagiarii" is a pleasant surprise.
I have played a game similar to this, yet, this game has already grabbed my attention like a good book you just can't put down. Some items are very small and also had to "change gears" with the different gameplay. Thank goodness, yes, different gameplay! A veteran gamer, my mind has become too accustomed to the easy way out and I'm looking all over the place for a solution when it hits me! I have to figure the game out myself and the solutions are very logical. Like I said, it's just different! Hooray!

From the makers of several good games i.e. Dark Realm, Rite of Passage, Cadenza, etc. Smoke & Mirrors is part of but should not be compared to the prequels such as Shattered and The Beauty Within--which was an awesome game btw.
Game is drawn and geared more to the younger gamers who will enjoy and have more patience in wrapping minds around another dream world to enter and pick up every piece needed to fulfill a scene rather than using our minds to solve puzzles or riddles.
Lots to do to keep busy--16 morphs--which I believe are hidden within the puzzles and not in the actual gameplay, find 45 cards and find 45 treasure items. Upon completion, gamer unlocks a Bonus Chapter, Hidden Objects and the Red Heart Casino.
Recommend for beginners or the younger gamers.
