I can't advance beyond level 16!!! The game just ends at that level and won't let me advance. I have had problems with another game from this developer. With both games, I purchased the collectors edition. Big Fish is just no help in fixing the problems. Time to report them to the BBB!!!
I don't recommend this game.

I like puzzles where I have to think and visualize and this game forces my old noggin to wake up and pay attention. I'm hoping Big Fish will offer more logic games like this one. More word games would be good, too.
I have every chapter of this series and have played them over and over again waiting for the next chapter to be released. I jumped for joy when I saw "Hiddenverse: Fate of Ariadna".
It's true that the games are the same but the developers have added "twist and turns" to some of the games which gave the game excitement. Some of my favorite games are still there for which I am glad but so are my least favorites (boooo).
My only complaint is too much verbiage.
I think the true fans of this series will not be disappointed.
The first three reviews I read did not recommend this game. I. however, decided to give it a try because the hidden object games no longer interest me and I can't seem to get into any other games offered. This was not a cutesy game and suited more for adults. Pennmom always give in depth description of the game so read her review if you want more specifics of the game. But, as always, you will have to try the game to decide for yourself if it's a go for you. BTW, be safe everybody!
Spellspire is a thrilling mashup of word game and action role playing game. Pick letters from a grid to spell words and shoot them from your wand as spells. The longer the word, the bigger the blast!
Spellspire is similar to games like WordRage where you need to make words from letters presented to you.
In this game, you face a line of monsters who have different degrees of strength. Whenever you spell a word from the letters given, the monster gets zapped and disappears. However, the monsters are not defenseless. If you take too long to submit a word then you get zapped by the monster. And as you go along, each different monster will be stronger. My strategy is to use the shorter words first and save the longer words for the stronger monsters.
Each monster you defeat you are given coins which you can use to purchase items that will probably be helpful to you. I was in the shop many, many times; I needed the extra help.
I enjoy word games and I really enjoyed this one. Gives my old brain some much needed exercise.
Hiddenverse et al is my favorite game series and I always wait in anticipation for the next chapter. There will be the same format as previous chapters but I think the fans will appreciate and have challenges with the new games that were added.
My only complaint....too much verbiage. I'm the type that skips all the words and go straight to the games. However, the Developers labor so hard to produce quality games that I think I owe them my respect by reading what is written.
I have been waiting and waiting for another Hiddenverse so imagine my excitement when this popped up on my screen. It has new features that makes the game more exciting. Pennmom36 excellent review gives you all the details . If you are a fan of this game series, you will love this one.
I like these types of mosaic puzzles. You use your visual abilities to determine where each piece needs to be placed and sometimes it's not easy as it looks. This is not a "no brainer" game. It has its challenges. Fans of this type of puzzles will know what I mean.
I have been waiting forever for the next clutter game, even played the old clutter games just to get my fix. Bought the game without demo; knew it would be awesome. Need more info on the game? Read Pennmom's reviews. She tells it like it is and with humour.
I bought this game on the basis that is was different. That's what I look for nowadays. I'm getting tired of the same old same old all the time. It didn't matter that the game has a timer. I'm just playing just to find the objects. Considering that you have to scroll up and down and your eyes are scanning left and right constantly and rapidly, this game may not be for those who become dizzy easily. It also helps if you have a good memory and can remember the different scenes. I have not reached my point of frustration yet but I like this game so far.
