This is a pretty straight forward resource management game. It can be fun at first, but I never felt the sense of accomplishment once a level was finished.
Absolutely loved this game and I cannot wait to start on the next one! The puzzles were varied and challenging, but not too hard to have to skip them. Took me a little over 5 hours to complete.

This was up and down for me. Started slow and stale, but then got more fun and interesting, then back to so-so. The puzzles were really unbalanced. Some were super easy, others were impossible. Not sure if I will play the others in the series, but I will at least demo the next one

Its great to see a game that's taking advantage of HD. I know not everyone has HD capabilities, but a lot of people do. Not only that, this is very fun TM game. TM games are my favorite, so I've played them all. This one doesn't do anything above and beyond normal TM games, but it does offer some slight differences.
Everything is well put together from the interface to the objectives, and the progression in level design. A+ all the way

Let me start out by saying that I love TM games and have played most of them out there (and I love most of them as well). I feel pretty confident in saying that I am an Intermediate to Expert gamer, regarding both hardcore and casual games. However, level 3 on this game has me questioning my actual skill (lol). I come nano-seconds to achieving gold on Level 3, I simply cannot do it. I understand if I run into this problem, say 10 or 15 levels in, and I have to rethink my strategy but not within the first 3 levels! I'm a perfectionist, and I try and try again if I don't succeed. But I just got so frustrated by this game.
Maybe the later levels are more forgiving, but because I am so picky and stubborn, I am choosing not to move forward (luckily this was only the demo). This is probably the most critical I've been about a game, so I apologize, but this game is not for me.
Embark on an epic journey across the Chinese Empire and build the greatest structure known to mankind - The Great Wall of China - in this exciting time management game.
First, this is the only game (so far) that I finished the demo on the first sitting (and I'm going to buy the full version after this review).
At first, the game is a bit slow, and its pretty much your basic TM game. You cannot queue up your actions (which actually did not bother me like some games do), and I think that can add to the challenge of this game. That being said, so far, the game is not too challenging, even without the ability to queue up. I did have to restart one level because I used all my steel before I reached the steel mine. There were a few times I came close to not getting 3 stars. I'm hoping the game gets a bit more challenging.
The mini games are a nice change of pace, I'm hoping there are more with different game types.
I love TM games, there are only a handful I do not care for. If you like/love TM games and aren't expecting something completely new and mind blowing, this game should be a part of your collection.
Definitely not the best in its genre, but I really enjoyed this game. It wasn't too hard to get gold on all the levels, except for the last handful of levels. There are still a few I need to try again for gold. Like most in its class, there is strategy involved, knowing which resources to collect/harvest first in order to get the best time.
The graphics are okay, nothing special. Fun factor is great. I do recommend this game for TM fans!
I recommend this game!

I couldn't get into this one, not much variety, till the later levels. There doesn't seem to be much strategy involved. You just got to hope that when you kill an Alien who's taking a Cow, that he drops it AFTER the next Alien in line passes it. Or he'll grab the cow right away and won't have far to take it back to the crop circle. Not a terribly bad game, just not for me.
This is a very challenging TM game. It is fun, but requires patience if you are looking to get Gold status on all the levels. I am still on the fence about purchasing the full game. Personally, I think I'll wait till I can pay a discounted price, then decide if I want to buy it.
