The residents of Bitterford, Maine have fallen prey to a terrible curse. It’s up to you to unravel the series of mysterious events that led to the town’s downfall and uncover the evil that was responsible.
After reading all the bad reports I see they are all correct. After loving the first one you would have thought they could have done it again. NOPE. I did not even get a full screen to see stuff. Just a lot of going all over the place for no good reason and not much for HOS. Just a bad game.
I should have figured out this game was bad with the bad reviews but I like to try them out myself. This one is bad. The screen is not big enough to see all the small HO in the HOS. The seens are also dark. No voice over and it must me a old game. No adventure at all. Just try and find small HO.
I should have looked at all the titles first about it being for kids. Lots of talking that you cannot stop. I'll give it 4 stars so not to be mean BUT your you are a HOS person that likes adventure this is not for you.
Pretty much like the first one. I did not think this was more geared for children. But then again may be too hard for them. Has voice over and good graphics. The problem to me is you get bored doing the same think from one area to the other. The HOS are not all that easy and you just do the same thing through the game. Good practice I guess. no real adventure.

The graphics are great and the music is good. Has voice over. The hint button works good but a little slow. The HOS are good some you really need to look for. The puzzles are challenging. What I did not like was you had to listen to all the talking or not at all. Could not speed it up. If you click on anything you skipped it all. The other thing is that you had to do lots of going back and forth to do things and find things to use. Not a bad game just lots to do.

I played the other Empress of the Deep games and was looking forward to this one. The developers did not do a good job with this one. The graphics are really good and has voice over. Music is also good.
You must click to open and close your inventory and the cut screens do not stop. The give you too much help on playing the game. The game is really easy and you do not need any help. There is lots of going back and forth. There is a map to use . The HOS are easy and the puzzles are not all that hard. Lots of clicking in this game that is not needed.
Not a bad game just not great. There is no voice over and it needed it. Lots of reading. I guess the hint button worked because I did not need it. The HOS are good and challenging. My biggest complaint is you have to go all and I mean all over the place to get items to use. By the time I get them I do not remember where to use them.
