This game had challenging and sometimes unique puzzles. I particularly enjoyed that. The storyline was engaging and the voiceovers were clear. The HOSs could have been a little crisper (I found them a bit blurry), but they had depth in play and some nice interaction going on. They're definitely not the kind you pop in and out off in 30 seconds, which was great.
It was refreshing to find it a little more "tame" than so many MCFs of the past. Not that I didn't thoroughly enjoy all the previous MCFs, I DID. But scary, just for the sake of scary, doesn't do it for me.
Overall it's a great game, and well worth the money (despite what a couple reviews might say). In my opinion, you won't be disappointed!
I rarely buy the Collector's Edition of any game but I had enjoyed so many of the others in this series I decided to buy it. What a mistake!!! This game was much to simple, I felt like I was being walked through it while they held my hand. It was like I didn't need to know what was going on because it will be so obvious I'd see it in my sleep.
This was also the first time in over 10 years that I finished a game in one sitting. Less than 2 hours.
The graphics were ok but there was not a good balance in the sound between the music (loud) and the voices (inaudible). I had to adjust the volume of each several times to smooth them out.
I don't recommend this game to anyone that wants a challenge. And I'm going to think twice about buying another C/E game in the future. It's not worth it!!!
This hidden object game is extremely simplistic. Though it has a little bit of a challenge in small portions, it's not worth the time for the more advanced player. Also, the voices are all computer-generated translations into English from another language making it difficult to understand, and the written words are gone from the screen before you can read them.
Loved the storyline, graphics were good, HOPs a bit too simple. Lots of locations made it confusing if you can't play in one or two sittings or if you're ADHD like me. lol Hints were "spoilers". I prefer to just be nudged - not taken by the hand. But over all, I enjoyed the game.
