Just finished playing this game, I bought the SE, following the advice of the other reviewers, and they are quite right.
This is a very beautiful Elephant game, it enrolls during day time, which is very nice, but the story itself is well... rather grim :)
You'll have hours of fun, I played about 8 hours, so really long. Very very nice graphics, great storyline, good music and fine sounds. Some cute things as well, I adored the spinning baby-cat and baby-polar bear!
Great hint which works a bit like an SG. Fantastic jump-map that indicates where there is action.

this has to be one of the best games I ever played!!
everything is perfect, graphics are superb, vo's unbeatable, gameplay flows like a river, hints are perfect, and there is a fantastic 'jump' map.
And the storyline is amazing, it's strange, but could not be otherwise eather.... check it out yourself!!!! Never seen anything like it!

This CE makes it even more unforgettable, collectable flowers, achievements and even your own office where you can buy upgrades for with the flowers you have found.
There's no doubt about it, a CE you HAVE to buy, don't even think about the SE, and you'll have the time of your life.

I just finished playing this game, and I loved it! Again another fantastic ERS game. The game sucks you in right from the first minute and you have to know how it ends, no way you could stop once you've started playing this game!!
The graphics are superb and beautiful, crisp and clear. So are the HOS, though they are challenging, but just doable. Not much interactivity in the HOS, but it's there alright, just have to look for it :)
Puzzles are fun and not too difficult, but they have their challenges as well!
The diary is fine and sometimes gives extra clues.

So, why not give it 5 stars then? Well, there is no hint button at all during the game #only in HOS# and no map either. So this ends up in running around a lot with items you don't know what they are for, or on the other hand, looking for items you don't know what you what they are or look like , nor where they eventuallly could be... Some people may think this makes it extra challenging of course.
The hint button in the HOS loads way to slow. Don't like waiting until the button has charged up to find that last item, I want to get on with the game!
And there are no VO's, pity.

But all in all, I absolutely ADORED this game #altough the cat isn't really cute) and had loads of fun playing it.
So try and buy I would say... Have fun gaming!

Just finished playing this gem of a game. I played it in one session, including the bonus chapter in about 6 hours, so marvellous, I couldn't stop. What a great story,pulls you in right from the first second! Crisp, beautiful, very detailed graphics, super VO's, even the live actors are very good.!!
I enjoyed every second of it!! HOS and puzzles are challenging, but doable, I like it when things aren't TOO Obvious!

Great CE extra's, collecting at least 50 frogs, achievements, and all the classic CE bonuses. Bonus chapter is very nice and captivating too, shows a little hint of the next game.
Try it, I'm sure you'll love it and buy it immediately, just like I did!

I really wanted to like this game, I love the red riding hood fairy tale. The storyline is very nice, cutscenes are great.
But.... it was far too easy, both gameplay as hos.
A real shame.

But I do recommend this game for beginners! I would have loved this game when I first started playing these types of games, you really get the feel for 'em without having to pull your hair out of frustration.

Sadly, I was one of the many that bought this game without trying it first, based on the fantastic reviews.
Boy, was I dissappointed! Not even a 6 year old kid would believe this storyline! Cinderella and Pinocchio?? They have nothing to do with eachother and never will! When they meet it's clear they don't even like eachother!
I'm really sorry blue tea, I normally like your games very much, but this storyline seems thrown together by someone who was completly inspireless. They tried to make up for it by making everything you collected look like some kind of jewel, but mostly you couldn't even make out what it was meant to be used for...
Find yourself another game, there are 100's of really fantastic games out there!
I don't recommend this game.

As we got to know them from elephant games, a very beautiful game with great VO's.
The game grabbed me as soon as I started playing it and went on and on and on, just had to know what would happen next.

I don't think it's worth it's CE price, no achievements, collectables, morphing objects or other surprises (+ of course extra chapter and SG!) but I am very happy BF sells it for the price of an SE today!
In casual mode, the hints are almost too good, as they explain exactly what to do next. SG becomes almost unnecessary!

As a fervent HOG player, I really love this game! do NOT expect an adventure game, you will be disappointed. But if you are looking for one of the nicest PURE HO games, you have found a winner!!
- nice storyline, very good VO's
- HO scenes very large, sometimes even 2 screens
- long lists of objects to find, which I love!
- in every scene a bonus object
- mini games can be replayed once you played them in the main game
- music to intrusive for me, I muted it.

Just finished the game, and I'm still baffled by it. Fantastic story! But you'll have to see for yourself, I can't give it away, can I?
Crisp graphics, great fifthies atmosphere, fantastic VO's, nice, clear HOS, slightly interactive. Certainly not the easiest of games, had to skip a couple of puzzles.
