This could have been a really fun TM game but the levels of difficulty are way out of order. Also I would have liked more contrast in what was needed vs what was already enough & more instruction at a slower pace. I don't think there was enough tutorial before the "timed" mode began. Too bad. I will NOT be getting this game!!! I recommend Totem tribe gold, Oregon settler, & The tribez
Travel across meadows and journey into a dark forest. Work quickly to build properties, earn gold and protect the town from fire-breathing dragons in Build-a-lot Fairy Tales.
A clever new story line in the building of houses & towns : Fairy tale style. The game ran very smoothely, good sound quality, & great graphics. While it is basically the same as the previous Build-A-Lot games only this time you are building dens, cottages, manors, gingerbred houses, & I'm sure there will be a castle on a future level. (I only played the demo.) Admittedly I was disapointed that there was really nothing new in the game itself, but since I really enjoy this type of TM game, I'm sure I will be getting this 1 as well.
I recommend this game!

Well, I can't believe that I am actually contemplating this HOG game, but I can't find anything wrong with this one (other than it is a HOG). The graphics are so cute, the storyline is fun & easy to follow. Absolutely nothing sinister or dark in this game. To me this is what a game should be: Happy, light-hearted, up-beat fun with plenty of replayability! The objective is simple & straight forward: Select the "available room" for the rummage sale items & find the requsted items ASAP in order to please the potential buyers & earn money. The faster the desired object is found the more money received for it. Then spend the money earned to up-date the mansion.
Yes, a TM with a different twist. I like TM games & Strategy games even more. This is a great combination of both. I didn't care for the music so I turned it down. I also had trouble reading the instructions & had to restart the game almost at every new level inorder to have enough time to read them. The game play is good & smoothe which is basically that you are given tasks to accomplish (crops to grow, rubble to clear, roads to build, etc) & you use different types of weather to do it. I found this game challenging & fun: A great game for older children of all ages. WARNING: You Do Have To Think!
I enjoyed LQ so much that I bought this sequel without playing the trial. And while I haven't played the game all the way to the end yet, I am enjoying it alot. I do like the storyline better and the ability to take my date to the spa. I also like the ability to develop a "relationship" with a friend rather than a challenge to get married. The clothes & customization of colors is not as good. The jobs are more varied but still not enough in the health care profession to suit me. The pay scale is a bit strange but the object of this game is still the same: Work hard and set goals to achieve your dream in life. A game for the whole family with good replayabilty. Thanks BF!!!! More games like this PLEASE.
I thought this game was a very well thought out & planned sequel. I would have liked more levels if all gold for a certain chapter was achieved as in the original, but the ability to earn more pts to fix up the cafe/bar was nice. The object is basically the same as the original: Buy low & sell high. The more you upgrade your garages & cars, the better the price you can get for a vehicle. I like TM & stratagy games. This was a buy for me. Thanks BF.
The sound seems so much better than TIC. The graphics are beautiful and crisp. It plays the same way as the 1st one only finding all the collections are a little more tricky since they are both place & time sensative. Also as in the 1st 1 be sure to collect as much as possible to sell. & to UPGRADE, UPGRADE, UPGRADE. The down side for me is that this sequel, which is really a prequel, is even less kid friendly & there is still no randomization. All in all a big thumbs up ... I am now looking forward to TIC3.
