I am enjoying this game. Music is very light. Objects are visible enough to find, most of the time. Interesting side challenges with each level - 1) Find the object in sequence for extra points; 2) Find all the jewels on each level (I have been unable to); 3) Points for no mis-clicks; 4) A challenging puzzle which can be tricky, given clues that make you think. None of these side challenges are necessary to complete a level, which is nice. Basically a fun and challenging game for its genre and its age. Graphics are good enough, and as I mentioned, music is quite sparse; all of which makes for good game play.
If you've played Da Vinci's Secret, or its sequel Pharaoh's Secret, the concept is similar. And I wish I knew of more than just these 3 games that shared that concept! Tiki Boom Boom is great fun, offers different levels of play (I can not finish in timed mode, which for me is difficult). Some levels are very tricky, some are easier, which is nice as it gives my brain a rest. Music and sound effects are good, graphics are fine. I don't look for a story line, I look for game play, and this one has it. I've been playing it for years and will continue to do so. I do recommend this game.
Probably not everybody's cup of tea, but aside from the excellent music score and the beautiful art work, another thing I like about it is the fact that once all the items are located, the finished product is the "correct" piece of art. Priceless! Much better than its sequel, in my opinion.
I have been playing this for a few years, and I just had to pipe in and say that this game is so much fun to play, relaxing yet challenging (with timer on), great artwork, superb music and sound effects. There are enough power-ups to help when you get in a difficult situation, and you have to earn them. Match-3 players will love this. NOW - how about a Spooky Bonus 2??
This developer has done it again. An excellent HO and other types mixed in, as is common. You can just about play forever and never really finish it. Yes, there are repeated scenes, just like Road Trip USA, but each is unique in its own way. Very crisp graphics, game play is very enjoyable. (One flaw - clue was "ladybird" but the object was a ladybug. This should be fixed, IMO). Great game, highly recommended!
I love this game! If you enjoyed the Gold Miner series, this surpasses them. Player can select from three levels of challenge; the easiest is perfect for getting used to the play of the game; the middle can get challenging, and the most difficult is just that. Those are in 'finder' mode as well as 'keeper' mode. Player can switch to 'keeper' mode and keep playing until you're either beaten, or choose to quit. High scores are kept in each mode, and all three levels of difficulty are available in either mode. MY WISH - Finders Keepers PART TWO. Please???
Thank you! Finally, an actual hidden object game that doesn't get bogged down with story lines and film clips or cartoons. No need to find the flashlight so you can find the key to open the drawer to locate the map and the pencil to mark an 'x' on the map, etc. etc. This is hidden object, with mini games, like the older HO games but with better graphics. Music is very good, but a little variety would have been nice. Thank you! I'm hoping for a sequel?
Loved the first Hiddenverse, and love this one even more. Very challenging as the game moves along, with plenty of variety along the way. Music and sound effects are superb. Game play is pretty close to flawless as far as I can tell. There is nothing not to like about this game. I hope they keep on coming!
As far as I can recall, I haven't played any 'clutter' games. This is such a fun game, I was immediately hooked and purchased it. Music is excellent, game play very good, and honest. Plenty of variety, which I didn't expect. Sometimes find 2 identical items, sometimes it may be two or three, sometimes one is in color and its mate is in B&W, plus an odd and different variety of occasional mini-games. Crisp graphics. Good instructions before each level. This is the best game I've played in a long time!
If you like the Big City Adventure series (as I do), this is as good as any of them. Hidden objects, some well hidden, with a mini game between each level, just like all BCA games. Learn a bit about the city of Shanghai along the way. I hope there will be more Big City Adventures. I don't care for the interactive type hidden object games - find a key in a different room, go back to unlock a door to open a drawer to find a flashlight because all rooms are dark, locate this and that, etc. etc. And I don't need movies as part of the game. I just want to play, and the Big City Adventure series lets me do that. Thumbs up!
