was utterly awful. No challenge, no story line, nothing that held this game together or held interest. I didn't even bother to complete the free trial before I deleted this game. Trust me, I'm NO fan of the new versions of HOG, with their interactive pieces, inventories and the like but this was just a hot mess!
I don't recommend this game.

Playrix does it again. Provides a fun experience for those of us who prefer traditional HOG while providing challenges for those who prefer a more interactive experience. This is a sure fire winner for me. I will be buying the full edition!
I am a huge fan of the Big City Adventure games. Not only are they great entertainment but informative as well. Admittedly I am NOT a fan of the latest generation of HOG games with their endless interactive elements, so I was thrilled to see this latest edition of the BCA games. For those fans who need to have some interactive elements, they are to be found here and the mini-games are a nice, slightly challenging interlude from the main game. If you're looking for the latest, bells and whistles, multiple interactivity and inventory type HOG, look elsewhere. If you're a fan of the traditional HOG, this game is for you!!!!

I get that Hidden Object games have evolved, with all the interactive pieces, sparkles, etc. However, as one who remains happily entrenched in the "old school" camp of straightforward hidden object, I usually pass this new generation of hidden objects #especially the collector's editions# by. So I was excited on two fronts when I read of today's preview game - Matchmaker: Curse of Deserted Bride. One, the scathing review that decried this games as old fashioned. Secondly, because I have the original Matchmaker game and loved it! Alas, this one was a disappointment--- this game contained many of the interactive elements that I dislike: inventory, combining elements. Give me an old fashioned hidden object game any day. Just not this one!
I don't recommend this game.

I first played Brainville through another vendor and was immediately hooked. I'm delighted that I was able to purchase it here on BigFish games. There are so many aspects of this game that I enjoy: the ability to monitor progress, focus on areas of weakness, etc. It's just fun and challenging at the same time!
