Several times I was asked if I wanted to move on and if I did I would lose bonus items. However there was nothing to find and I would be left at the end of the game with items that never was put anywhere because some you need two or three and it wasn't available to find in the game. Even asking for hints it would still direct you to move on to next level. At the end of the game I had several items still left that could't be used. It did let me complete the game but I have no clue what was the point or what I would have collected had the game not had these glitches.
I have tried so many times to reinstall this game to see if it would fix the issue but it doesn't. When you get to the part where you have to chain the boat to lift the elephant it just stops. You can't do anything but Ctrl/alt/del to get out of the game. This is pretty much in the beginning of the game. It is a great game to but sucks you can't get past that to finish it.
As usual this is a very short game. I completely all including the bonus chapter in around 2 hours with taking two breaks lol. There are only 12 items to collect, that's it. The game is good, didn't have any technical issues but it's the same old same old as the rest of the games in this series. Compared to some CE series we get this series should be offered as SE.
The game itself is something new in way of game play. I found it quite refreshing and wasn't as easy as I thought it would be. However, I feel like we got cheated having to pay for a collector's addition full price and there was no bonus chapter. This should have been released as a SE.
Just started playing and already recognize this to be the exact same scenery from another game with same type storyline, and in fact I am doing exactly what I had to do in the beginning of the other game. I wish I could remember the name of that game, which was also a CE. Does anyone else remember or notice what I have. But in that other game I was to pick flowers for the wreath, go in and make a sugar skull and was told not to forget to ring the bell for the boat man. It's identical to that other game. Feels like they just stuck another title to it and recycled it. Will give an updated review when I am done.
POSSIBLE SPOILER..if you don't want to know extras
I am loving this game. Graphics are awesome. Storyline so far is a good one, you can set your challenge level 4 ways (one being custom setting). Inventory locks into place.. The are plus indicators on inventory items for things you have to do with them. Hidden objects scenes that I have came across in the last 30 minutes of play have been find and use type. Puzzles are fairly easy. There is one collectible to find in every scene and there is a area that keeps track of the number collected, it stays grey until you find it then turns purple. The best part I have found so far is NO RUNNING AROUND...most scenes you use what you find almost immediately. Not sure what the time is on skipping puzzles or hint refills as I am using custom level and again this is just what I have found so far in game play. There is a little extra something you have to do throughout the game, which is fairly new as far as in any games I have played. Over all, I would have to rate this game a 10/10. Great little weekend gem. Happy St. Patty's day to all and enjoy the game!!!!
