I concur with most of the other reviewers about all aspects of this game. I was extremely disappointed in the play length of the game and its abrupt ending. I expected a lot more to happen. Game designer did a good job of suckering you into purchasing the follow up edition.
This is the reason why I only give it a 3 star rating even though it is an excellent, well designed game.
The previous reviewer gave this only a 2 star. This game is worth 5 stars. It is not a difficult game and is quite intuitive. Probably not for more experienced players because of lack of significant challenges but would be a great game for the lesser experienced player/adolescent.
Take me back to the 50's. This game has an 80's design. Written dialog with sliding pictures seems to be the way you interact with other characters. Too much verbiage. Get to the point with this game.
The opening scene was confusing and should have done a better job of setting up the goals of the game.
The GUI for first goal is to put stuff on the main character's desk. Move stuff from inventory to a desk drawer and other things on top of the desk. What was the point?
The only thing that was half way decent was the background music.

Enjoyed the game even then it was quite short. Puzzles are relatively easy so no need for skipping. There is no map but the game does not have that many areas to inspect. The transition from location to location is quick with little to no delay. The HO games are not logically placed anywhere and you have to go looking. The HO games are repeated in previous locations you may have seen.
It is worth playing but I used free game code. Don't pay $6.99.

This is a great game and well worth buying. My only complaint is that the Hint button is not very helpful if you are not in the same active object scene. If not the Hint button will indicate the next scene you need to go to but you have to wait for the Hint button to recharge.

Consistent with everyone else, this game is not worth the time to buy, let alone play the demo. I will spend more time writing this review than playing the game. It is so bad that is almost ridiculous to even spend to time to review it but here are my comments.
Pros -Graphics are OK. I've seen much worse. -Cursor movement consistent without any suggishness Cons -No voice over -Too much dialog -Some dialog appears to be written trying to impress the gamer of developer's linguistic skill. Didn't impress me. -No too sure what the storyline is about. -HOG game - items are singularly listed instead of grouped together. If you get stuck finding something because it is well hidden, you will have to find item before you can move on. Gamers will agree that sometimes when doing HOGs you can spot hard to find items while searching for others. -HOG game - appears developer just wants to increase game time by performing mundane meaningless tasks, i.e turning on 20 computer screens to get to the most obvious which is right in the middle of the graphic screen. Indicates developer has no creativity or ingenuity to make a quality game.
Do not even bother trying the demo! I'll bet people will try this game just to see how bad it really is. I did.....I need to get a life. lol
I recommend this game!

I am a long time BGF game player and willing to give a game a chance. NOT THIS ONE! I lasted about 5 minutes in this game. Poor graphics - grainy brown throughout, very hard on the eyes in the one and only HOG I encountered. No voice over and music is blah. In this age of high definition graphics, I can't believe there are still games like this being produced.
Generally agree with the good and bad comments of other reviewers. Game has two levels of play - Normal/Hard Interactive map is pretty useless. Need to use Hint function too much but Hints show location of next task without link to location. Following storyline and sequence of task is difficult; didn't make much sense to me. There are spelling errors and bad grammar; doesn't really get in the way of finishing tasks. Game play is too short and ending is abrupt.
I enjoyed this game very much. Graphics were clear and well done and easy on the eyes. Play was linear so there is no confusion about moving through the game. There is a map but does not provide jumps to location. Hints are pretty descriptive and provide jumps to locations. Cut scenes are well done.
Overall this is a very good game without any real surprises. I rated with f 4 stars because of the challenge level and the game play is short.
