Nothing to recommend here. There's a certain level of challenge, which once in a while makes it passable. This has been the worst HO game I've ever gotten.
Rarely you play a game where continuity of the story line moves along the solution of the puzzles and the HOS. Beyond: Light Advent is that rare game. Starting with its very first scenes, you must take command of your movements whether to go into outer space or come back and save the situation for characters stuck out of their element. Taking into consideration that I am not a fan of sci-fi films, books or games, I was caught in the struggle and even romantic situations of the characters. There's a lesson here to be learned by game developers: making sense makes a game the best it can be.
It is difficult for a game to be fun to all players all the time. Lost Lands: The Golden Curse is a lot of fun. Not many HOS, but these show innovation and engagement. The games are also entertaining -- some are easy but there are a few that are quite demanding, which is something most players look for. This game obviously had a good team giving their best, and it shows. The problem is that is was just too much. There were so many elements involved that it was hard to keep track where to return to place the item or solve a puzzle. While I played, I kept thinking that it had enough puzzles to fill another game. Which is probably what should've been done. Ultimately, it became too much of a good thing and I just clicked the Hint button endlessly so I would be taken to the next step.

Dark Throne captures your imagination from beginning to end. The HOS show creativity and differ one from another, which is a plus. The game doesn't show any of the laziness that is prevalent in many of the games, where you can anticipate what kind of minimal challenge you can expect. One of the better ones lately.
