This game definately has the scary factor down, not so much that you'll have nightmares but great scary fun. I only rated it a 4 star game because of the length of the game. It should never have been released as a Collectors Edition although it does have bonus content for finishing the main game. I could finish this game very quickly so I will wait for the regular version. Even then I won't use a game club credit but a bonus game credit. I think the developers did a wonderful job but either ran out of storyline or ideas. That is very sad as this could have been the "Game of The Year" in my opinon.

I don't write reviews very often but I decided I needed to let players know that this game, while good, it's not worth buying the collectors edition. I have loads of CEs but this will not be one of them. The challange was just not there. I never used the built in strategy guide once and only the hint button maybe 3 times. Save your credits for the standard addition.
Return once more to the haunted grounds of Ravenhearst Manor to uncover new details about this poignant saga. What you find could very well be the final chapter of this riveting story-if you escape.
