This is so far a very good game. Not being a CE it offers a built in SG, map, journal and task button. How nice. Even some of Hogs have Hogs within. Interesting captivating storyline. Beautiful cutscenes that you can replay in the journal, although some of the " ghosts " phenomenons, gave me a few gray hairs after scaring the heck out of me unsuspected. Nothing a little hairdye can't fix.
Although it seems a little grainy here and there, which makes looking for objects harder and a floating cursor that I had to change, I definetely recommend this one. It is fun with lots to do.
Minigames are fun, some challenging , some not, although journal and what to do next, may give away some of your search. Enjoy
I recommend this game!

I'm glad I waited for the SG, not buying the CE. Game could have been so good, but it was way too short. The HOGs were different, not the usual junk piles and games were ok, story started out wanting me to find out what is going on, but then got very predictable. I thought there was more to the house to explore, however ended way too fast for me. I like a lot of search and destroy :), looong games, this one could have been so much better.

This was a No go for me. Looked promising, I usually love ghost stories but this is very cartoonish with the kid waving in the back ground and the ghost chasing him. Same old story, got bored 20 min into the game. Please bring more challenging and captivating games. I can't even spend my free punch on this. Arghh
I don't recommend this game.

When the game first came out there were many technical issues so I waited for the fix. It's all good now. I could not wait to play it after I demoed it. Just finished it. Length is very nice but then again I take my time especially with beautiful graphics, colors and locations like this game has.
When it starts out, you play the storyline that happened before the actual story and then it gets into it. Storyline is pure fictional, I hope :) but you are out on this island to find your friends.
Minigames and HOGs are kind of easy, so no headache there, but different. There is a lot of back and forth but never too far.
The ending left me thinking that there will be a part two.
Anyway, this was worth the wait and I really enjoyed it. It has some creepy moments, but that just adds to the fun.
I recommend this game!

Just another " get out of town " game. HOS are the usual, not too hard and minigames are not too challenging either. Storyline so far seems to be everyone turned into " zombies"?
You need to find health packs to do certain tasks and move on. Graphics are just okay. Sorry but this game just does not grab me and want to buy it.
I don't recommend this game.

Gorgeous game. Had to have it once I knew it was from Alawar.
Very captivating storyline, gorgeous scenes and HOGs. Very nice length. Lots to do, not too challenging so no headache there. The game flows nicely and the cutscenes can leave you stunned. Just love it

I'm so glad I gave this one a try, thought can't go wrong for $2.99. It sure beats Raincliff any time. That's just me. You never hold on to too many items, you can usually use them soon after. Story is very interesting, it just kept me going. Graphics are very good and interesting. There are many unusual places to visit, you don't need a SG, story will lead you through, however I do like to read the journal. Length is very good, only played the regular game, not the CE. You definitely get your money's worth. The " beasts" are too cute, especially the ape. Give it a try.
I recommend this game!

Did not like it. Way to much hand holding for me. You cannot think for yourself, everything is being told to do. Got stuck in the lab applying the solution to the piece of paper going in circles. Hint was poor, same hint over and over. Graphics are good, however I like games where I can go and explore myself.Maybe I was too impatient, but game did not impress me. Sorry, not for me
I don't recommend this game.

I hesitated getting this game based on the trial. It seemed a bit gruesome and I wasn't too interested. After a few weeks I finally decided to buy it,based on some reviews. I like long games, and it was long. I truly enjoyed this game. Very much to do everywhere, lots of rooms and the minigames are a lot of fun and different from the usual. It is not a very hard game, despite the fact there is no walkthrough or journal in the SE, but you don't really need it. The story kind of leads you where you need to go, without making it too easy on you.
Graphics are very nice and clear. It is really not too gruesome, just seems like it when you play the trial.
I'm so glad I decided to go for it. Truly enjoyed the whole game and length of the game.
I recommend this game!
