The evil Claudius and his partner in crime, Polonius, killed the king and queen, thereby forcing Ophelia to marry. When the handsome prince came to rescue her, a spaceship from the future fell on him and our modern-day bumbling hero now has the daunting task of rescuing Ophelia from a forced marriage.
This is the corniest, silliest, ingenious and imaginative strategy and brain testing game I have ever come across. In each level, you have to figure out what to do and in what order to do it in to complete it and move on to the next level/task. Sound easy? Trust me, it is NOT - LOL.
This is a game that will test your patience, strategizing and brain wave capabilities all the way. Unfortunately, my grey matter has lost a few cells along the way so I got stuck fairly early on, even after waiting forever and a day for the hint button to arrive so I could at least get a clue - and even that was more of a riddle than what you need to accomplish in the first place - lol.
Please, please, please try this amusing and witty game of Hamlet and do your best to free the poor Ophelia from a loveless marriage. Good luck....and
I'm not even going to try to explain how to play the game because I will only make it more confusing than it is. And, it does take some strategy and practice to get it. So, don't despair if you have to replay a level or two. LOL
Yes, this a match 3 game but unlike anything you've ever played before. Don't focus on the match 3s as much as you MUST focus on the goal - DESTROY THE DIAMONDS!
You have to play Arcade 1-5 before you can unlock Adventure Mode. Seriously, those are your tutorial levels. Once you have passed Arcade 1-5 and can unlock Adventure, I recommend that you do because the story is amazing. And the thrill of success you feel when the medallion for that Level is achieved is incredible.
I certainly got my personal "wow" factor when the game ended. When the demo ends and my reaction is "NO!" - it's a definite buy for me.
I encourage everyone to try this unique play on a match 3 game. Remember, strategy and destroy the diamonds.
Your Uncle has disappeared and you miss him terribly. But, you are also a starving student and need to improve his home so you can save it.
Game Play: Each room will individually light up. Click on that room and in several places around the screen you will see "keys". Click on the keys and you will be presented with a screen of teeny tiny items scattered about and in the scenery. Almost impossible to see, you literally have to run your mouse across everything in the scene to see what's what and where things are. There is a hint button but it takes a while to recharge. Click on the item's name and see what it looks like - this is extremely helpful. Upon finding all the items (usually around 12), a piece of furniture will appear. Place it correctly in the room and it's on to the next "key".
For all the tiny-ness of the items and the diligence with which you must look for them, this was quite a relaxing game and I was disheartened when the game ended.
I do encourage everyone to give this game a try. It turned out to be nothing but HOGs but it was fairly relaxing with background music to fit each background (i.e., Asian, Central Park, etc.)
The HOG items were much easier to find in this version of the game. The mini games were plenty but, unfortunately, gave little or no instruction. Or misconstrued instructions. The hint button recharged fairly quickly. My issue came with little instruction from the hint button or journal. For instance, I had left the ship at was at the first port trying to find a piece of a valve to put together to fix a fountain that gave me NO clues which head belonged where. Sorry, I don't pay attention to the zodiac so that was hard for me. There should have been a clue somewhere. Then, when I finally wended my way through that mess, I had NO IDEA where or how to find the "valve" other than I had a pair of tweezers.
I truly began totally enjoying this game much more than the previous one, however, that enjoyment soon went downhill fast.
I do not encourage this game for anyone to waste their time on. Not at frustrating as the first, but frustrating in its own unique way.
Not only is this game a poor representation of the small towns of Italy but of the people itself. For instance, HOGs based on cleaning up various areas? It's insulting to the Italians (no, I am not Italian).
The HOGs are difficult to complete because they are tiny, embedded in a vast number of unrelated items. Items are misnamed. For instance, a "spanner" is a wrench. It makes it very confusing when looking for items. There is an incredibly long over-clicking penalty.
The conversation is inane and verbose. You play impossible HOGs followed by incredibly easy mini games.
If you don't want a headache from trying to find tiny items, don't get this game. If you don't mind a struggle, by all means, free demo away. It's definitely NOT a buy for me.
I understood the concept of the fairly well and early on. And, yes, I did win all but one hand in the hour demo. However, it was more of a strategic card game and I just didn't find it relaxing. I like my card games to be more laid back.
You goal is to have a run of 3 cards. For example, 1,2 and 3 of non-gold kitchen, living room, etc. will get you "low end" sets but the same thing in GOLD cards will get you a "high end" set and more points. Keep as many GOLD cards in your hand as possible because they help with total points.
I recommend everyone try this unique card game. But, definitely try the first few hands on easy so you get the drift of it. You can always change the difficulty.
If you like card games or games of strategy - this game is definitely for you. Unfortunately, it's a no go for me.
What we're told on the game description page: 7 beautiful cities across the globe. 700 pictures to choose from. Yep, I guess. But, I'm not really into architecture and that's all this was. I like animals. 700 pictures, 4 of animals. And they weren't all that cute.
Definitely not a buy for me but if you LOVE architecture, this game is definitely for you. If you love variety, run for the hills and find another puzzle game because there is no variety here.
But it needs a extensive tutorial. You start a farm with one ostrich - no instructions, just feed it. Ok. Except when I get the seeds (multiple times) it won't "set" where the pointer indicates. Then, when you try to move around, the seeds disappear. You didn't use them? So where did they go? You HAVE no apparent inventory. So, I get more and still try to feed the ostrich. After multiple tries and multiple purchasing of seeds, SUCCESS!
Then, I purchase an enclosure for said ostrich. But, now it's sick. So, you have purchased medicinal seeds already (aren't I brilliant?) but again and again and again and into infinity again I try and try to "set" the seed down and it won't go anywhere and if I move, it disappears. I'm trying really hard - no instructions, no tutorial, just "do this" or your ostrich will die.
I tried multiple times to feed that ostrich and it died anyway because it wouldn't eat the medicinal seeds. Your neighbor suggests "come on, you can do it, just drag the grain bag over". What grain bag? I SEE NO grain bag. EXIT before the adorable ostrich dies and I start to weep in frustration.
The graphics are amazing. The animals the cutest in the world. If there had been more instruction, a tutorial, SOMETHING to help, I would have purchased it in a heartbeat.
I encourage everyone to give this cute little game a try. Maybe you're smarter than me and can figure it. Please save the ostrich.
The expedition continues... Track down the fragments of King Solomon's crown and foil a madman's plot in this exciting follow-up to the bestselling series!
Before I go into details about the demo, let me say that after viewing the extras and CE bling and everything you have to find - the game was mine - before I even hit "Play". Then, I loved it even more. Can I wait until Bonus Punch Monday to purchase it?
Storyline: A fragment of a powerful crown has been stolen from King Solomon's Tomb. It is said that whoever has possession of the crown, which King Solomon destroyed into pieces, will RULE THE WORLD! H.E.L.P. is called in to investigate the situation and YOU are the investigator. Find those crown pieces and keep them out of the hands of wrong people. FYI: You WILL be facing danger at every turn. There is an infiltrator at the H.E.L.P. Organization. Off you go. Good Luck.
Graphics: Amazing. Strong colors, great atmosphere. A LOT of hard went into this game.
Sound: Voiceovers clear and easy to understand. Lip syncing perfect. Music - not annoying and the tempo rises and falls as appropriate to the surroundings. Even has the "edge of your seat" rising tempo that really did have me at the edge of my seat - lol.
Game Play: Easy enough. You are a H.E.L.P. Investigator traveling the globe to find the pieces of the crown before the bad guys do. However, you were found out and followed - trapped in a sinking ship in the Arctic - end of demo.
HOGS: Not many - like not one in every scene - but interactive, fun and not difficult to find the items. Look for the morphing objects here.
Mini Games: Fun, some innovative, all relatively easy or once you give it some thought you should be able to manage them.
There are 4 levels of difficulty - rookie, field agent, H.E.L.P. operative and custom. In "custom" you can change everything including the amount of time things sparkle, skip time and hint time. During the demo I like to move hint and skip to the fastest so I can get into gameplay quickly.
The CE bling is too much to mention. Find fact cards, hidden crowns, morphing objects, special symbols and much, much more. I was hooked on this game before I even started after looking at the potential extras (locked) and all the things to find. A definite buy for me.
I encourage EVERYONE to try this free demo. It's an amazing 90 minutes long and if you've been following this series, this is by far the best one yet.
World Adventure is a unique twist on a match 3 game.
First, yes you do match 3 or more items. However, EVERY time you ONLY match 3 you lose energy points. Through many types of bonuses you can rejuvenate those lost points - even getting more than you started with. Lose the points before finishing the level and you have to start it over again. I played the Relaxed mode rather than the Challenging one. I recommend this because it's not timed and as you level up, you really need to think and strategize to make those match 4s so as not to lose points.
It may sound confusing but PLEASE give this unique game a try. It really is quite fun and the free demo lasts a very swift hour.
