Based om Trial.
I lasted about 1/2 through trial.
Graphics and such are cartoonistic, and item are microscopically poor.
the one mini game I was able to access was a torn pages puzzle-but finding the pieces was a chore-no idea if we had all of them until you clicked everywhere. Poorly done. IMHO
There is no voice overs, alot of reading. to advance you want to click on converstion balloons that pop up.
The hint is painfully slow, and you have to use it to get hints to where to go.
The "notebook" has one kernal of hope-suggestions are highlighted once you eventually find the clue.
there is no back ground music, just sound effects.
if you randomly click to figure out what you need you get a fogged over screen,
no map
no level choice
my curser would.'t change to system-and it's very LARGE curser.
The story is a sequel? prequel=no background on what it is.
Unless you are VERY intuitive this is a no buy.
Maybe a few tweeks this would be a fun game, like map, or a magnifier or faster hints w/o click penalty, or....
I don't recommend this game.

Decent relaxing music
hints fill slowly-60 seconds or so
click penalty 1/2 minute
HOS is themed not clutter
storyline intriguing*good intro
wonderful graphics, very clear & clean
1st mini game was a mechanical bug, then a couple pipe games & a magnet ball game
sneakers needed
I would be interested as length, might be worth CE if bonus worth it time & cost, otherwise SE might be it
Just wish they wouldn't display better games at end of month when card is already filled! someday they let us carry over punches eh?
I recommend this game!

Graphics are a bit muted & some items you need a magnifier or burn a hint
Hint charge fairly fast
The wording of the "talk" pretty much on mark like TV show
HOS somewhat easy side
no voice over
Music is maybe two or three loops-like the old MIDI files, but bluegrassy
I would say if your eyesight is good & like HOS & watch the show, you'd like this game
I recommend this game!

Great graphics, but I still need more than that to enjoy
Girl find family under curse, white majic & solved.
Music very weird at first, had to turn off. initial voice overs great but will still need to read a bit
I *HATE* slow hint refill & then to add insult you use it for DIRECTION, o yeah, nowhere is there an interactive map-just a map on location, but nothing deeper, no directions, so burn the hint, wait, burn the hint, wait---
you will pick up objects into inventory, but are only used once all needed are obtained, or you completed A before you complete B, can't leave at where it will be used to make room in SHORT inventory scroll.
Puzzles are WAY too simplified (guess that is to make up for all the running around eh?#
The HOS are good, alot of camo on those graphics, fast click penalty #again slow to recover) and you may need need to burn the *SLOW* hint spell again.
All in all I would say SE on a DD if you need to fill a punchcard.
I recommend this game!

I bought this game ages & ages ago & just reloaded it thinking it was easy.
kinda sorta. you need to match different elemtnt within a time frame, you have a reshuffle & swap you can earn at a cost of accumilated points, once there are no more moves or you cannot use those tools, you Duel the Guardian for additional points. Not always easy since the guardian (computer) can sense where the games it going.
It's an easy relaxing game & fun, little grey matter invilved, and the "helper" has some cute saying if you click on him accidently.
Bonus plays (think ghost from from another era) and trophies. I just watch out for Level 5 game 5, it's a tough one.
I recommend this game!

ok I loved the first one because the dog reminds me of my old lab & the attitude he had.
It's a cartoonish game, ALOT of small object, but once you get the mojo of the game not so hard, hint (dog) fills somewhat slower than some games, but watching the characteristics of dog is worth it.
a fun lighthearted, somewhat easy game that helps relief the stress, several hours worth of play
I recommend this game!

This is a sequel, and I enjoyed it very much
The graphic are FANTSTIC (then again it *IS* ERS)
The music creepy, as is the storyline.
Voice overs great.
two levels of gameplay.
Notes and Fairytales along the "grimm" line.
Hidden Objects are interesting, not hard, just watching the drawing in the background.
Hints recharge quickly and puzzles are skippable.
The adventure portion requires some grey matter, simplistic in a way, but still you may need you sneakers a bit.
I would definately recommend this game, especially on Holiday pricing--well worth a few hours of entertainment
I recommend this game!

King Arthur--What a classic! AND a DD!
This HOG/Puzzle game is not hard, challenging if your old eyes are at play though
The graphics are wonderful.
The music is mellow & for once no werewolves, demons, or gore.
It's good versus evil.
The HOG scenes can be challenging, as some things are tiny, but the interesting hint system (you earn hints & recharge for ruins) is unique.
Merlin speaks like a patient old man-like a professor of folklore.
Story is skippable after awhile, no click penalty unless you click fast. Puzzles so far are rather simple, but interesting.
Worth it for DD, and to fill punch card, kid friendly
I recommend this game!
