I just bought this game, because I tried it and was pulled into the weirdness of it. Yes, there are some English mal-words, and yes, some of the HOG items are a bit peculiar, but it's so odd and the puzzles are so fantastical, and the characters--the non-human ones--are so downright strange that I just really like it a lot. The art is engagingly bizarre and yet very attractive. The captions are really quite cute. It starts out a bit slow AFA getting right into the puzzles, but that's an advantage, as the player has a chance to figure out how this particular world operates.

Playing this game is like entering a dream world; you play as an orphaned little boy who is determined to save the sad little girl who knows how to stop the nightmare. The art is beautiful, the music and sound effects are like those you hear in a lucid dream, the puzzles are varied and play to different reasoning strengths, and the plot unfolds like a story-dream--it connects in that peculiar and unnerving way that your dreams do. I loved it and hope for more games like this.

I love this sweet game! It is a fun solitaire game, sure, but it has lovely music, pretty illustrations, and a charming story! What a neat game for Valentine's! I recommend it highly!

Of course it isn't "Hitchhiker," the luminous best of this series--but if we'd never seen that one, this would be a 5-star extravaganza! The playtime is LONG--hours and hours of playing. The sirens are extremely creepy-looking; part zombie, part deranged mermaid. The siren dog is just...what crazed mind came up with that thing? The puzzles range from easy to time-intensive, but nothing too difficult. I like decorating my "personal space" in games, and at least the fish does not come along to help me. Although the decorations for its bowl get out of hand...all in all, a very good buy, and the bonus game is fun and also LONG.

I really enjoyed the demo, and am back to get the game. It is a great deal of fun, and has a lot of really "made me jump!" moments. I like the different feel and the new way it employs "HOG" to escape the house! My only caveat: I'll be playing in increments, as it does induce a bit of motion sickness in me...so if you've a tendency to have motion sickness, do the same. Truly a fun new game!
I recommend this game!

I love this game! The latest updates are FABULOUS and FUN! The characters are fleshed out, the scenes are beautiful, and the narratives are well-written and thoughtful. It's both enjoyable and relaxing to play! (I love capital letters and bangs!!! aka exclamation points.)

This is a fun game (demo only). I had a great time with the puzzles, and the graphics are good. Of course, it isn't up to the original Phantasmat, which is one of the greats, but it is a nice game I'll probably get. However--the game is set in 1965, but in one of the HOGs, you must find a calculator and an electron microscope! If you'd HAD a calculator in 1965, you'd have been considered god-like! Research, game-makers, research! It would have been more fun with 1965-era items!

This one deals with time travel, and whilst there are limitless possibilities, the Hidden Expeditions games will always end cheerfully--no dystopian disasters will occur! The puzzles are not difficult, but they are charming, and the visuals, sound effects, and voice acting are first-rate. I've only played the demo, but I'm sure I will enjoy the full collector's as much as the others I've played. There are also morphing objects, collectible symbols and cards, and other bonus features in the Collector's edition. Try it out! You will have a good time!

This is the best of the "Nutcracker" games so far! I am really enjoying the gameplay, the artistry, the voicework, the Christmassy themes and items! The bonus games, featuring kitties, are so cute! I rarely write reviews, but this game is a special treat for all, invoking sweet holiday stories and images and so putting me into the Christmas spirit! Such delightful fun!
Return once more to the haunted grounds of Ravenhearst Manor to uncover new details about this poignant saga. What you find could very well be the final chapter of this riveting story-if you escape.
What a game! Puzzles that require thinking (not crazy illogic), gorgeous graphics, Fantastic sound effects, a delicious mood of sinister creepiness, and OMG, it's all just too fantastic! What a great T-Day present!!! And searching for morphing items--what a super twist on the HOG!!!
