This has to be one of the worst games ever submitted by BFG. It starts extremely dark and stays that way. Of course all you do is jump back and forth trying to find things to find other things to get...well, you get the picture. The first person you interact with that is supposed to help you looks like one of the characters that is going to harm you. Real creepy looking dude. Everything about this game is a con from the dark, badly drawn graphics, the lame or nonexistent storyline, and the creepy people to name a few. The HOs were a joke. The only pro for this game is the exit button which I used after about 10 minutes. I know there are 5 star reviews for this game but ignore them and read the 1 and 2 star reviews. They are the ones spot on. I wholeheartedly do NOT recommend this game but play as much of the demo as you can. You might like it. Either way, have fun!
This is one of the worst games I have seen in a long time. Story line is very weak and really doesn't go anywhere. The only thing you do is flit back and forth finding things to go somewhere else and find something else. Very boring. I stuck it out for 39 minutes before I gave up. Now I know this will get some 5 star reviews, and that is fine, but it's not there for me. Graphics are not that great and are about the exact opposite of the regular dark HO games to the point of being annoying and the HO's and mini games are not well thought out and add nothing to the game. I don't recommend this one but, like I said, there will be some 5 stars and I would be surprised. Play the demo and have fun.
This is one of my favorite series to play. No time limits to worry about or idiotic back and forth seeking of objects just straight forward hidden object with fun thrown in. Each separate area has additional mini games within where you have to find certain creatures and also some litter. Points add up which you can use in the store. There is a specific story line throughout the overall game and it is nice and straight forward and makes sense. The numerous mini games between areas are a blast and some are easy and some difficult. All add to the overall fun. Graphics are excellent although busy at times but there isn't any of the darkness prevalent in most hidden object games these days. Only complaint (?) I might have is, even though the developer used actual people in the scenes, for some reason the rangers are drawn and look it. They should have used real people there also. The only big complaint I have with this particular game, and what kept it from 5 stars (rare for me), is the length. Most in this series might have 25-35 areas to play but this one has I'm guessing over 50 which made for a long game. I counted once and was up to 37 but I still played for what seemed like forever before the game ended so be prepared for long play. Despite this one drawback, if you have played any of the earlier games in this series, you will really like this one. This is the one series that as soon as the next comes out it is an automatic buy for me and i highly recommend this one especially if you are tired of what is available in HO these days. Play and have fun!
I enjoyed this game in it's simplicity. Nothing really complicated to do and the levels end nicely. I like the fact there is an untimed mode and you can relax and play without worrying about a clock. Graphics are typical and average for this type of game and were very colorful. I don't know about any storyline because I usually skip through those cinematics so no comment there. I played the demo and would buy this except for the fact it is a supposed collectors edition and I'm not going to waste my money or credits. Otherwise, this is a nice fun, relaxing time killer that I think a lot of people will enjoy.
Despite some of the negative reviews, this is a good Texas Holdem game. You have your basic low buy in games, your tournament games and some high stakes games. Play is steady and there is no delay as a player 'tries to decide to play'. Graphics are nice for the age of the game (2007 game) and the sounds are just your typical card shuffling and dealing. Nothing annoying. One thing I particularly like is in an all in situation the percentages of a winning hand are shown. Overall, a good, relaxing game and fun to play. I recommend this one.
I'm not a big fan of match 3 games but this one kept me interested. The story line is kind of weak and the conversations between games are a little lengthy but at least the graphics are above average and the characters look good. The match 3's themselves are interesting. some were easy and then some were a real challenge. I enjoyed playing them and the power ups came in handy. I played in relaxed mode as I always do but the challenge is still there. If you are a match 3 fan I think you will like this one. I'm leaving my options open and may come back later and purchase.
This was one of the most frustrating games I have played in a long time. The story line is non existent and impossible to follow. All you do is find things to find other things. No rhyme nor reason. Graphics are on the below average level and the characters are quite laughable in their stick like movements and voices. This is not a game I would waste good money or game credits on. Save it for something else.
The graphics and colors are nice on this one but I played 3 complete stages and the game never changed other than every now and then you get some annoying power up which does nothing to enhance the game. I have a 2 year old nephew that would get bored with this game. Play the demo, you might like it but it's not for me. I don't recommend this one.
I was highly disappointed with this game. If I had played this before Witches Island 2 I never would have bought 2. The graphics are good on this one and the characters are well drawn but that is where the pros end. Everything else is a con. No voices, HOs are lame as are the mini games, doesn't seem to be any cohesion in the story line and I became bored rather quickly. This is one of those games where you look at the 3 star and below ratings and heed those and not the better ones. I do not recommend this game.
After months of playing mediocre games Big Fish has finally introduced a game we can get our teeth into. First, the one time opening cinematic is great and worth watching and not skipping over. From there there game progresses steadily and kept me intrigued. The characters are a little weak in their oratories but are drawn with good detail and colors and add to the game. The little crocodile helper adds a little joviality and gives hints now and then. This is your typical find this to open that game but not to the point of being tiresome. Whatever you find will be used fairly quickly and helps the game along. All that being said the best part of this game by far are the mini games. They are well thought out and add just enough difficulty to keep it interesting. I loved every one of them even the ones I had to skip because of demo time constraints. I will go back to them after I purchase and start over. I'm not going to write one of those long winded reviews that tells everything about the game which ruins it for others but I will say that this is one that is well worth buying and this recommendation is just from the demo. Play the demo and see if you agree that this is finally a great game from Big Fish. Have fun!!
