Played this after reading some of the reviews and after playing Legends 2 and, I must say, I was highly disappointed. Not much variety or excitement and no real goals. Unless I missed something, you can't go back and replay a level to get a better score and you have no village to upgrade as in 2, only some number goals to reach to get "what?". Started getting magic cards but all they did was give me a few more points. No music played during the game and graphics were not only boring but a little depressing. Could use a little more color.
Evidently programmers and developers listened to criticism and corrected everything in Legends 2.
I usually enjoy these types of games but this one left me in the dark and did not brighten my day. Play the demo if you want but I wouldn't recommend buying or wasting a credit on it.

I am a solitaire nut and this game intrigued me. Typical high/low play but each level is different and just refreshing enough to keep you interested. Nice mix of easy to hard with a few in betweens thrown in. I have played it a few times and have played with three stars on each level which isn't really hard to do just tedious.
Only real complaint I have is that you can upgrade everything in the village within 100 levels and then there is nothing else to strive for other than three stars on each level. I wish the programmers had thrown something else in there to liven it up some. And when you finish the play with 300 level 3 stars there is no fanfare or attaboys.
Loved the music and some of the graphics but the people in the village could have had more animation.
All in all, this is a fun game for solitaire nuts, it just needs some tweaking.

I read some of the other reviews on this and cannot figure why the ratings are so high. First, this is a predictable game in that you go to this spot and do something, go to another spot and do something and just keep going back and forth to the same spots and never advance. The hidden object games were not that challenging and there is nothing else to challenge you as far as mini games go. The story line is boring and predictable and goes nowhere. And another thing, why are all the main characters female? That irks me to no end. Do developers think only girls/women play these games? I would love to see a quality game where you can pick your gender to play the game. Hopefully, Big Fish will look for some better games out there and put them on their site.
I don't recommend this game.
Without warning, a group of mysterious figures arrives and reduces your village to flames and rubble. What do they want... and who is controlling them?

This is not a great game. Especially for a collectors edition. Graphics are childish, story line is a little lame and characters have no depth. Didn't seem to get anywhere quickly, just kept going back and forth. I wouldn't pay for this one.
I don't recommend this game.
The fate of the magical world is in your hands – free it from evil!

I originally played the demo version and found it to be a fun, but not too challenging game. The story is the typical person saves a world genre and the characters can get a little wordy, but still worth it. It went on sale and I bought it and glad I did. This is a long game but not boring or repetitive and the mini games are varied and not just HO. You get to a few spots in the game where you think, "OK, this is the end" but, lo and behold, another part of the 'world' becomes available and you go on. The graphics are great for an inexpensive game and rival some of the so called "collectors edition" games to the point they are put to shame. Another plus is it is not a dark game. Plenty of color and colorful characters. One recommendation I have is watch the opening cutscene all the way through. Looks like a video but it is all computer generated and amazing. Only about 2 minutes and is on a loop but worth it. Buy this game and have FUN!!

Just played the demo and I must say I was disappointed. Graphics were ok but not spectacular, storyline is a little weak, and that prophet popping up to talk all the time was annoying. Hellas 2 is one of my favorite relaxation games but this one just doesn't hack it. I'll stick with 2, thank you. I'm going to recommend this game only because some of the younger fans might like it.

I have had this game since it first came out years ago and still find it fun and challenging. Starts out slow at first losing more than winning but the key is to either be very cautious or very aggressive in your betting. I have tried both with about equal results but cautious playing outweighs aggressive by a small margin. One of the key moves is to buy property as soon as feasibly possible so the income from them is eventually greater than your tournament buy ins. 60-75% of the computer opponents are bluffers and you have to weed them out of each game. Sometimes you get your butt kicked but, with careful play you will be the winner. Play and enjoy!!

This is, by far, one of the worst games I have ever tried on Big Fish. Could not skip the boring, 5 minute opening cut scene and then, on top of that, there was another 3-4 minutes of credits you couldn't skip. Story line is weak, graphics are sub-par, no hints or even a tutorial to help and all you do is scroll around running into things you can't get into or have no point. The company that came up with this game should be banned from Big Fish.
I don't recommend this game.

Thoroughly enjoyed playing this one. Not stressful or frustrating. Hidden objects were about average but some of the mini games were a challenge but enjoyable. I recommend this one. Good storyline easy to follow.

Played the trial version and became hooked. Sorry to see it end so I bought it. It is similar to other games I have played from another source but this one is less serious and sometimes funny. I get tired of all the same old HO games offered and was delighted to see this change of pace. You add up points ($) and can purchase upgrades to your monkeys arsenal which adds a twist. I highly recommend this game to anyone looking for a nice change of pace.
