I have the other game in this series and I love it. So I tried the Frozen Hearts demo with great anticipation. But the nonstop falling snow in the demo made me dizzy and nauseous. And I don't think we can cancel special effects in this particular game.
I'm very disapointed to have to pass on this beautiful game.

The fourth colour really enhances this grid filling game, stepping up the challenge but not to a point that kids cannot play the game.
However, I don't understand why some features have not been updated after 14 editions of this game :
1) The impossibility to look at the beautifully painted backgrounds. Why mention the awsome backgrounds in the game presentation if we can't even look at them ?
2) No way to skip the tutorial.
3) And most important : no aspect ratio adjustment. Playing this game on a wide screen stretches the squares, making the game less appealing and pictures out of proportion.
All in all, this is a relaxing and beautiful game. But it could benefit from a quality update, not just an additional colour.
I recommend this game!

As with the other Fantasy Mosaics, you have to complete some graphs by turning on coloured blocks, following a sequence of horizontal and vertical numbers and spaces.
It is a relaxing game, with very easy instructions and soft music that can be turned off if you wish. Backgrounds are beautiful ; unfortunately, they are very rapidly hidden by the game area so we cannot really admire them.
If you already have previous games in the same series, you will not see much difference between Fantasy Mosaics 7 and 8. However, I must admit that I find the graphics in FM8 quite uneven (some very well detailed, some much too simple). And the constant flashy and saturated yellow in FM8 makes it tough to look at after a while.
If you never played Fantasy Mosaics, I suggest you try FM7 instead of FM8. Fantasy Mosaics 7 includes as many colours as the latest version, but the themes are better diversified and the colours are a bit easier on the eyes.
I recommend this game!

A puzzle game where you have to place coloured pieces in their appropriate spot to form a picture.
Unfortunately, this game is not as high quality as the previous mosaic games we've seen before.
Even if you turn the sound and music down, you will still hear loud music when completing a picture, which can make you jump.
The mouse movement is not very fluid.
The different textures of the puzzle pieces are not as varied as in previous games. There are no "metal" or "natural wood" puzzles.
Colours are beautiful but are sometimes so close to one another that the object in the picture is hard to see. And some pictures would benefit from more saturated colours.
The horizontal movement of the map is hard to stop.
You don't know how many pictures you have to complete in a series unless you exit from the game and go see the gallery.
All in all, this can be a beautiful game for younger children, but quite boring for older game players and it lacks the quality of previous mosaic games.
I don't recommend this game.

The progressive levels of difficulty and multi-coloured or locked tiles make this brain teaser game very interesting. However, many items did bother me : 1) tutorial cannot be skipped (most of us know how to play this game). 2) Once used, power-ups are gone forever, unless you pay a lot to make them permanent. 3) Because you sign in with your email address in order to keep track of your progress, it is impossible to start the game over once you have completed it. You can play as a guest, but your game progress will not be updated and you will not be able to move forward. In conclusion, I would love to play World Mosaics Chroma over and over again, but the way the game is set up really deceives me. And by the way, I don't think storylines are mandatory in this kind of game.
I don't recommend this game.
